Thanks, gotta set my truck apart aesthetically and that seems like a big step. Gotta do a photo shoot now.

The accumulator I have doesn't have a bladder like the Canton does - at least I think the Cantons do - what that means is the Moroso can only be mounted vertically, so that the oil goes in and out of the bottom of the accumulator, and the air pocket pushes on it. I actually didn't charge it at all - the compression of the air in the accumulator, starting at atmospheric pressure before it first saw the oil, is enough to provide around 20psi oil pressure to the engine on startup, so not too bad. One could conceivably use the valve on the top to apply additional pressure to it, which would increase the overall oil pressure, although you'd have to be careful not to blow the air out of the accumulator if you leave it open too long (it would also theoretically reduce the capacity of the accumulator).

So to answer your question, you don't really charge it, just hook it up to your oil line, and you don't ever need to re-charge it. The instructions said that the valve on the top is for cleaning or purging purposes. It is sealed and there isn't any pressure loss over time, at least not in the time I've had it installed.

I think the Canton ones you have to pressurize - and since it's a bladder, you can mount in any orientation you want.

There was a mounting bracket kit, although it wasn't great. I had to figure something else out.

How my boss and a friend say it. They pick and choose when to swap in a "y" for and "h", or to drop the "h" all together..... Makes it fun to pick on. Lol

Yeah, the cost sucks and now the price of gas doesn't make it a selling feature at all. We're already invested in the rabbit hole.

Yeah it's definitely more driveable now that it's broke in. At least I think that's what happened, I hope nothing is wrong with it lol. It definitely grabs hard and holds my torque so that's good.

I hear you, it's a huge initial cost and then even huger if you want to get everything out of it. But power and modding is fun... I think someday you'll get into it.

I'm doing well overall. The job is interesting and I try to be thankful I have it through everything that's gone down the past few years. Glad you're doing all right. Diamonds are a man's best friend, or something.

Some photos that were almost good enough to add to the original post, but not quite. I had my camera with me but didn't put a memory card in it, that would have been much better than my phone. Next time.

For those who might be interested, the Hawk HPS 5.0 brake pads (stock format) I would recommend. They are responsive and have great bite. My brakes had gotten irresponsive, and that might have had something to do with them being nearly completely seized too, so cleaning the rust and sludge out of the calipers may have made a difference.

    Poll time.

Do you think I should get TE37s as summer rims?

It will require creative accounting with some savings that my girlfriend (soon to be wife) will probably wholeheartedly disagree with and might never forgive me for (if she even finds out lol - I'm confident I could forge a receipt). It's better to regret something you have done than something you haven't done, and then ask for forgiveness.

My kids shouldn't need me to pay for their education, right? I'm sure they'll figure that out somehow.

Think of the weight and performance savings - massive tuner look. I could also sell them in 2070 to pay for my retirement.

I'm really just looking for you guys to enable my irresponsibility.
