That does look nice. Glad I waited too I think. Wonder how long until 6' tacoma gen3 will be available?

I haven't seen any images of the contour with the 6' option. I am wondering if they kept the same short side doors with a filler plate on the rear, or if they made longer doors, or added filler smaller plates front and rear? The big filler plate at the rear is one detail of the explorer that I do not love for long boxes.

Goose Gear came in, some molle around the camper, and hot water... (sorry for those that saw this in the *what have you done today*, but I did skip the non-alu-cab updates in this thread, roof rack/alu-boxes/maxtrax/gpfactor maxtrax mount).

Curious, did Juniper sell you that water heater as a kit (heater + case) etc.?

They did (not even as a kit, they sell the box built just like that). I think it's the first one they've sold outside of the person that designed it (I was working on a solution, talked to Josh over there, he mentioned they were wrapping this up if I was interested, so I decided to give it a go). The only thing really missing from it (obviously you have to hook up water/propane to it) is a water pump (but I already had one in my truck).

    Thanks!

I’m on Fox 2.5 DSC’s front and rear with 14” 650 springs up front and OME HD’s on the rear.

Pretty sure it’s the middle height set.

AVO set it up and if you’re looking, I would highly recommend them. They drilled the tent for the awning mounts, ran wiring for me to connect to, and installed the shell, awning, and the RTT.

I got a quote from them, I live like 13 hrs away and it is hundreds more. Luckily I have my awning and tent already, just need the canopy.

One of the few places in Canada to get an Alu-Cab got back to me on a Contour. Delivery will be Q1 of 2023 and they want the full payment up front. Not really into giving someone $5200+ for a product that I won't see for 6 months minimum.

I would go back to them to see if they’ll work on their price if you’re finding something better. The 13 hours may not work at all for you though. However, Asheville is super nice if you’ve never been and plenty of great spots to camp nearby. Pisgah is like 30 mins from the shop.

For me, early this spring they had canopies in stock, they’re 3 hours away, and they were competitive on price with everything else I found… AluCab from others, RSI, RLD… so I went for it.

Same here. I priced out AVO vs having everything shipped to my house and (at the time) I saved $100-$200 by having them do it. install and everything. But I am only about 40 minutes from their shop, so it was a no-brainer for me.
