I thought raptor lights were corny on the Raptor, they serve a purpose and thought it was a unique approach to the required lighting. I never thought it would set a trend, or become an aftermarket accessory. I sure was wrong.

2.5 gen DRLs always looked cool to me going down the road, and I never really liked DRL.

The white looks good, I like the Toywerx and BPF mesh style grills with raptor lights, the lights are lowprofile and work well with the mesh.

As much as everyone on TW digs at the raptor lights, there isn’t a single thing I get complimented on as much as the raptor lights I installed. Go figure.

    Raptor lights and light bars.

When you like your Tacoma so much you need to make it look like both a Ford and a corny looking Jeep.

Since moving back to the Midwest I've seen quite a few Tacos (and Dodge/Cadillac/Chevy/anything, really...) with way way too many decals plastered all over them.

With Chargers/Daytonas/Magnums it's generally lots of SRT and Monster Energy-esque claw decals. Usually flat black or neon orange.

Jeeps are usually covered in simulated blood splatter, zombie themed, or terrible camo.

Chevy/Ford/Cadillac trucks and SUVs all have the make of the vehicle in big bold letters across the front or back window for whatever reason.

Tacos are generally that same Jeep-y blood splatter in various colors; but covering literally the entire truck + Prinsu rack + headache rack.

No idea why. It's not particularly annoying to me, it just personally looks very tacky. As-if a 12yr old finally got the car they've always dreamed of and slapped $600 worth of decals all over it to add buff horses and extra badass factor.

No personal offense meant to anyone who likes decals. It's your truck so if you wanna cover it in glitter that's your perogative.

Edit: what is a little annoying is seeing someone with a basically stock car with their *vehicle's* Instagram handle plastered on it. Who wants to see pics of your bone stock Dodge Caliber that's covered in tacky decals sitting in various parking lots? Not me.

Already mentioned, but decals all over the truck and chrome looking paint, like on this trailer hitch. And, how many 4x4 stickers do you need? Two on this tailgate, I guess just for starters…

    Oh look, another mod....

It looks like this truck was driven thru Pep Boys and they slapped every-single chrome accessory that they could on it. They even have a chrome trailer hitch. Not just the ball, the entire hitch bracket.

I agree. Chrome anywhere they could put it. The paint on the hitch is what I first noticed. Even the vent visors.
I have a Limited, which, of course, comes with chrome on it. But, I just changed out the mirror caps and signals, changed the grill to the Nightshade grill and changed the lights in back to the TRD Pro lights to get rid of the chrome there. Now, I think it’s a good balance between the midnight black paint and the chrome that I have left on the truck.

Mods that annoy me are all the super nice mods you guys get that I can’t afford.
If you’re going to spend that much money on you truck, keep it at home, I don’t need you out on the roads making me look bad.
I will say Tacoma owners are the best a far as mods/lifts/builds. Every now and then I see one where the person just didn’t do a good job, but Jeeps / Wranglers I see, almost half I see are badly done, Ford/GMC/Chev/Ram not bad but not as good as Tacoma owners, but when bad you will see the worst. RAM the worst of those, as it like putting lipstick on a pig.

It's called a Heritage Grille:smack:, and is one of the accessories sold by Toyota for the Tacoma, and is installed on a Tacoma in combination with other upgrades to justify to difference in Price of a TACOMA.
So don't get too worked up on what you think your TACOMA identifies as!:rofl:

    There's no "PRO Privilege" here!:crapstorm:

    All Tacoma's matter! LMAO!!!!
