If you're going to work on a/c you will definitely want a bunch of those . Don't loan them to ur co-workers, cause they don't come back.

I think this morning when I topped off the fuel tank, most I ever paid for gasoline in this area. $4.64 for the cheap stuff in Missouri. Nebraska is usually a bit higher. Pretty sure I've paid a little more in California or Oregon at least close to $5.00
Only give a friend key to the house if we're all out of town. Have a couple friends that care for the animals. I think my son has lost enough garage door opener that every kid in town might have one

You know...speaking of getting a spanking, it's things like that, totally unacceptable things a parent whip your hind end for as a youngster...I think it helps remind a kid. I better not lose that remote, dad's foot be up my butt. It's not acceptable to dole out a spanking these days.

Yup. Both of my kids were whipped (hand, so it hurt me as much as it did them) probably three times each. They can tell you exactly why for each. They’re both over 20 now.

They are the generation that were told it’s unacceptable and given a 1-800 number. After the school gave them that speech, I sat them down and gave them my own: “Yes, you can call. The cops will come and take Daddy away. But you better pack your bags. Because when Daddy comes home, you will no longer live here. It’s your choice, the life you live.”
They are great kids inside.

I never got a whipping I didn't deserve.

There is also a difference in discipline and abuse

My wife told her dad once she was going to call the cops on him, he said tell them to send an ambulance too cause if I ride, you are riding too.

Yes they are, I've still got some Malco tools from when I worked in HVAC in the 1990's.

 

Exactly; not like beating a kid or whipping and leave welts all over their body. It's just instilling in them a respect and knowing a consequence for bad or unacceptable behavior. Then older in life someone might understand better the concept of break the law, go to jail...or prison.
I'm pretty certain that some of my discipline crossed the line into abuse category. I survived though.
