Gotta say, literally, it sounds alarming and since @FishnTx got them gauges in his ears, I wasn't sure what coulda been happenin.

 

Good enough.
Just got word that our neighbor’s cat came down after being stuck in the roof structure for several days. I had to cut a fascia board back a few inches to make an opening for her, and lean another board up for a ramp.
Same thing happened during the winter and I ended up cutting a hole in the ceiling to give her a path back in.
Neighbor isn’t concerned about damage to the house as it’s in foreclosure.
We’ve been kinda hoping for this to get finalized so maybe she’ll get into elderly housing where she’ll get more help and we won’t be stuck dealing with all her issues.

On the more fun side, we spent last weekend at a nice waterfront resort in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Did some kayaking, biking & relaxing with a large group of other kayakers.

Taking next week off to head to Arlington to bury my mother’s cousin who passed away January 2021. Takes that long to schedule a burial there for cremated retirees (active duty, full body burials are fit in within a few weeks, I believe.) We’ll spend a couple days doing touristy things in DC, then head down to see a couple cousins in NC.
Not looking forward to all the driving, but will probably be the last opportunity to see one of the cousins.
