Hey @Taco_Traplord how'd you make out with getting the muzzle threads chased on that upper? I still feel shitty about that, but there's NO reason anyone in their right mind shoulda pinned a 16" muzzle device...:frusty:

Nada no bueno…. Took it to like 3 or 4 gunsmiths and they tried but they couldn’t get it done. they said it’s better to just buy a new barrel at that point. It’s mainly because that pin weld was pretty deep into the threads. Oh well was a learning experience to triple check shit hahaha.

    Awww man, boo! Dislike! :rain:

Well, I do have the tools and jigs to install barrels, so if you get a replacement I could install that for you 100% cheap as free to make up for it... I know how to not fuck that up!!

Yeah I bought a replacement barrel so it’s no issue now. The guy installed it for free because it took a few weeks because he wasn’t open due to shortages. He was cool about it. All I had to do was buy the barrel.

Yep, rattle can. I've had great success following the tips I was given, which is
1- basically ignore surface prep, just mask off what can't get paint on it and rock and roll, the colors chipping and blending faster will make the camo more "natural" looking quickly
2- do "palm width" stripes for about the right size.
3- bake in the sun once you're done to get the paint stink to burn off quick.

Been working out awesome for me! I wasn't even really going for the "battleworn" look but it happens fast.
