Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Don't know about where you worked though, but every time we get a call like that to an office or HR I always wind up getting cake, doughnuts, or something sweet.

 

Thank goodness.

The only time I see my garage door opener is when I look in the mirror.

Well , I'm back in action. Went to see the oncologist and he said I'm good to go. Blood pressure and blood sugar are under control. No more nausea. Feel like my old self again

My employer regarded me as an appliance, nothing more -- they were busy important people and often a simple "thank you" would take far too much of their valuable time.
This was fine with me, most service jobs are this way.

...And there was a bit of comeuppance in the end too...

Seems I was very good at my job, to the point of being almost invisible. From what I hear starting about 2 weeks after I left they begin discovering that I quietly attended to a lot of things that nobody really attached much importance to -- until they didn't get done that is.

 

We mad it to Council Bluffs last night, we're currently sitting outside of Q39 in (almost) Kansas City waiting for it to open then blasting to Memphis tonight to what I'm hoping will be an amazing hotel room after sleeping in the Highlander last night.

So far, it's going EXACTLY according to plan.
