I think we've had less than 10 hrs above 70* so far this year. Tomorrow is supposed to make it to 68* and then back to the rain on Friday :annoyed:

The constant rain is one of the things that kept me from staying in WA fulltime (partly grew up there, moved back after college). It def wears on you.

I may have overcorrected a bit moving to Utah.

We’re supposed to have 106* this Sunday. Yet it was below freezing and snowing a couple months ago haha.

Yeah, Utahs like that too. But not nearly as drastic as the Dakotas.

In a strangely positive turn of events re: the Speed T, one of my neighbors indicated he is interested in buying it to rebuild, and he wants the tires I was getting ready to send back as well! So, other than the chunk I'll have to pay the mechanic, I almost didn't lose money on this whole thing! I'd like to say "Lessons learned!" but I'd probably be lying...

That's what I was thinking as well. Have found a few cheaper options all private, but knowing it was dealer serviced is a big plus to me.

    Is it?

No clue what the resale market is like for that but it seems to be one of the lower priced ones I found with similar years. Mileage is definitely a little high...what do you think would be a fair price for it? There would definitely be some negotiations to be had.

NADA list average retail at $10,500. That is with the listed options and assumes the carbon front fender and rear mudguard are factory and not aftermarket. I'd definitely put that bike in average territory considering it has 27k miles and a nice size scuff on the upper right fairing.

Edit: I think we are seeing the motorcycle market start to turn from an aggressive sellers market. In times of high inflation, the powersports market starts to slow because people have less disposable income to spend on toys. With that in mind, I would try to be as close to $10k otd as possible.
