Serious question, the fire extinguisher, what do you use it for? Camping?

They’re generally used for putting out unexpected fires :p

In other sane countries _every_ vehicle has a required extinguisher. It’s useful even when you’re not introducing fire in various forms to nature.

Interesting, never in my life thought about needing one in my Tacoma and never have needed one. Guess it’s better to be prepared. I have seen them in nascar though. Cool idea

Hinge piece of OEM tonneau cover broke. Replacement part is $25, but figured Gorilla Glue-ing back the broken tab might be the way to go lol damn times we live in. Wish I had some JB Weld left over, but sometimes gotta work with what I have on hand…

Also my Stonecutters decal came. We control the British pound and we keep the metric system down. We do…we do.

Where is this magical enchanted land you speak of? Colorado is nowhere as bad as California, but this morning I still spent $93 to fill up - and that's using Walmart+ and their $0.10/gallon discount at Mobil/Exxon.

Are you running the R4T bumper caps in black? Do you have any more pics of them in the unpainted raw black?

What did you use to get the bolts out on top of the crossbrace? I've tried a few times and just can't seem to reach them. I did just get some extended ratcheting wrenches that might work. Long for extra leverage.

I didn’t remove the hoist mechanism bolted to the top brace. I used a pry bar to widen the little notch holding the end of the chain enough to free it and then just backed the chain all the way out of the hoist.

These work. That's what I used on mine when I drilled new holes to relocate it to fit the 33" easier. Those bolts are lonnnnng it sucks to take them out lol.

I just finished up wiring my front locker in this heat (over 100F down in the south with the head index). Might as well put the new wrenches to use and go sweat some more.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
    To fenrir614

“I was looking into getting those at a point but I gotta ask; can you pop the racks out easily or is it a complete nightmare? I have some of the old style where they cut slots into the bars and I take them out when I need pretty easily. But I wasnt sure for the ones with tracks like that.”

About the sunseeker awning. No, you do not have to leave it on all the time.

Very simple. 2 bolts into the top of the each Thule cross bar. Those stay, no need to ever take them out.

Those are L brackets. The face of that bracket attaches to the awning with just one bolt. So one bolt into each Thule upright.

Just loosen those 2 bolts. Then just slide the awning along until you get to the widened exit point and lift the awning off.

A one man job, takes 5 minutes. Same with putting it back into place. So, there is no need to leave it permanently attached. I am going to use using mine only on trips. Theft too much of an issue if it is left on all the time.

The Thule uprights and entire rack also easy to remove. I take my uprights out at during winter. They slide up and out.
