This is a great look! Good spot. Definitely out of the way.
Here is where I'm considering mounting this bracket on my ARB bumper:

Its tucked out of the way and behind my light so not visible directly but from an angle it sure is.
Does anyone know if the self-drilling screws that are included with the kit from arb will bore into the bumper? Thanks

That’s a nice spot! Tucked away and essentially hidden but still easily accessible. I doubt the screws will tap into the bumper but that just me guessing since I don’t have any experience with them. But if it were me, I’d purchase similar sized but slightly longer bolts and fasten them from the underside with some nylon nuts or loctite.

Thats a good idea. I think I may actually be able to get my hands under that section too, which would be good.
Although I am going to start with the self-drilling screws, I'm reading that they should penetrate and fasten no problem. If it is one, then I can make the holes larger and use holts with nuts like you mention!
Going to wait to mock up the entire system fitment, and then get to work.

I’ve installed my ARB set up and will show pictures later. Need to test tonight.

    OK.

Yesterday I was overhauling my OBA system to fix some leaks. I was replacing all the hoses and all the fittings.

I was attempting to remove a push-to-connect fitting in my ARB Twin when the fitting broke and the threaded portion (which is supposed to be on the left) got stuck in compressor's manifold.

Any thoughts on how I can get it out of there? I thought about using a EZ-Out but I'm afraid that could damage the threads.

unless I'm misunderstanding ... I'd try pulling on the flange - from the pic pulling the lip out to the right to loosen the bite on the tube and then push the tube out (from the left) until you can get some pliers on it.

    I think you are misunderstanding.

The fitting screws down into the Compressor (red arrow). When I tried unscrew the fitting to remove it, the fitting broke leaving the threaded portion (red marking) still stuck in the compressor. How can I get the threaded portion of the fitting unscrewed from the compressor?

I'd see if you could (gently) hammer a flat blade screw driver into the brass fitting and then twist it out by hand that way.

Is there any remnant of the threaded body that protrudes above the compressor body or is it fully sunk into the hole?

will you be needing another quick connect coupler from arb? I think I have an extra I could send you. Not sure how to help on the remaining part left in there though.

There is no remnant above the surface, but that's OK. I just ordered a new manifold part from Poly Performance. That would be much easier than trying to wrestle it out of there.

An EZ out will work fine and takes only a few seconds, I had one do this on my air tank. Issue is finding a decent ez out set. I prefer the ones that also come with a drill bit and the reverse threaded portion.

I just competed the final part of my custom OBA set-up: drilling the remote air coupler into the front of my bumper
Here is a photo of it installed

There wasn't a ton of options for mounting my single arb compressor and some might say this isn't even the best spot or mounting solution. I drilled two holes through this metal panel near the front and mounted the compressor with only two of the mounting bolts, indicated by the photos. It's pretty sturdy and I don't think it will go anywhere. If it does fail, I will then look for another solution.

Lastly, I mounted the arb dual compressor and air tank using the MOAR mounting bracket. I didn't realize these guys are out of delta CO, which is about 30-40 mins from me. Somehow their holes didn't line up perfectly and my intake and horn and wiring loom were somewhat in the way. I drilled another hole through the bracket and got it mounted with two of the three bolts. It's definitely a tight fit. But doesn't seem to be going anywhere...

Hard to actually see the air tank in there.

Here is a close up of the connections I used to get both compressors plumbed to the arb 1-gal air tank:

I used two, viair check valves at the entrance of the air tank and a few of the arb braided air hoses for all secure connections. The outlet hose from the air tank is going to the remote coupler in my bumper.

To clear the bracket, I had to order an NPT M>F brass fitting that spaced out the T-connector at the entrance of the air tank.
From this fitting we have connected another NPT M > NPT Fx2 (for each compressor)
Next I used the Viair check valves (NPT)
After the check valves, I used the 90* NPT M to JIC-4 M fittings, which connect to the braided hoses.

    Thanks for looking

Looks good. Out of curiosity, why a dual and a single arb compressor? At that much cfm wouldn’t you be better off figuring out how to make a belt driven comp work better?

I had the single and it worked well but isn’t the fastest at higher elevation.
Found a deal on a used dual compressor and then just got a wild idea to use them both and then got excited about having a project. Plus idk where else I would mount another dual
And mostly to see if my newfound understanding of these air systems is accurate and would work and it seems to. I haven’t aired up using it yet but will test tmrw

Yep - definitely misunderstood but I see now from your last pic. I think I’d try an ez out like others said. Keep us posted. Good luck!

Do ARB compressors have a built-in check valve so that air from the tank won't leak back through the compressor?
