Do you spray the 303 directly on the top or spray it on a rag and wipe it on?

I will spray directly onto the large areas of fabric and wipe off the extra, but around the plastic windows I will spray onto another rag and wipe it on. I don’t believe the protectant will harm the clear plastic but it leaves an oily film that just doesn’t look the best.

My reflective insulation droops and folds down and hangs. Struggling to keep it up there. Really helps with the heat so I wanna make this work. Also I fold the topper forward often so I don't want anything too permanent. Any ideas?

I put mine between the topper and the rails. So the rails keep it up. Then have enough on the ends to be able to catch it with the wrap that the front and rear rail snap on.

That's what I was doing for awhile but it still kept falling. Maybe I'll attach two layers together make it more rigid

I'll try it again. It's fine when it's cold but when it's 80 or hotter it becomes more loose and droopy and comes down on the ends

So, you know how on the front and rear rail the softtopper fabric wraps and snaps? you have to punch the snaps through the reflectixe to hold it. I had it like that for years in Miami heat and humidity and here in AZ heat.

Ok so I just did mine and I poked two holes on each corner and wrapped a zip tie around the front and rear bars that has the snaps for the canvas to snap onto. The zip ties are totally hidden and it seems like it’ll work great. I pulled them tight

I use a cargo net as an attic, and it holds my insulation up. I may use y'alls idea though to use a couple zip ties.

Hella 500s, Satoshi color match grill, Magnaflow Exhaust, K&N Intake, Removed Mud Flaps, and Running Boards, Softopper. Heavy Metal Off Road BedBars, OME 2" lift.
I was just taking some measurements to get a replacement rear window. I'm the 3rd owner of this soft topper, I'd have to guess this one is ~10 years old. Some of the stitching is starting to come apart, and it's getting some holes in the roof. Any idea how long these last? Thinking maybe I should just order a new one to go with the Heavy Metal bars I just got.

Is that a Matt gecko light kit or did you roll your own? Curious as to how the wiring is done up and routed as I'm working my own solution with chinesium cuttable strips and DIY wiring.

How do you secure the jack? Is it also secured from theft?

It is the Matt gecko kit. I routed the wiring to the cab in order to have the switch in there that was I can pop it on and check the bed while driving if need be.

I used the pro eagle 2 ton big wheel jack mount which has a bar that runs through the top and a pad lock on it. As far as mounting it I marked the two bed bolts on that side and drilled the mount to be able to use the existing bed bolts to mount it down. Nice and solid and didn’t have to use any new holes in the composite bed.

The jack mount also came with a cover which I thought was pretty nice.

For sale, Softopper camper top tent. I used it once and decided I didn't need it. It is a nice set up, but I enjoy ground tent camping whenever possible. Perfect condition. New on Softoppers site it is $199 + shipping. Asking $175+ shipping.20220531_185942.jpg 20220531_200220.jpg

I was pretty impressed how this top keeps out water. Seems to be leaking most between the mounting rail and bed rail. The weather striping that comes with it is pretty crappy and I probably over tightened the brackets. What is a better seal to use?
