How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

You're welcome, It does not show a hold. It actually shows an ETA between 06/27 & 07/02. But we know sometimes they are not accurate.

I saw a truck loaded with all Tacomas while out in my area today (between Newburgh and Evansville Indiana). On Toyota Tracker mine showed F this morning but I checked it a few minutes ago and it had changed to G. Haven’t heard from my dealer yet, but hoping this means it will be soon !

 

I cant see the tracking info, only the spec sheet. Looks like it was build on 06/10 all I got.

If you have the permanent VIN, it'll eventually start showing notifications on its own when the doors are unlocked. Generally an indication that the truck is about to be moved.

 

Mine randomly showed up last Saturday. My sales lady was expecting it to show up around the end of the month.

 

Yeah, I went to my local dealership in October and placed a deposit. They never even got an allocation for an Army Green Tacoma, let alone what I was wanting. I finally found what I wanted a couple states over. Placed the deposit on that one and took delivery in about a month.

 

So my sales manager calls me this morning and says he was allocated an Army Green TRD Sport Tacoma with the options I want. He said I could be looking at delivery around the first or second week of August because a few accessories will need to be installed by SouthEast Toyota in Georgia. That would be approx. 4 1/2 months since I paid earnest money towards a new Tacoma. I'm a happy camper today. I just hope it works out so I can post my pictures to this forum.

Did you ever receive your truck? I have an allocation from the same Vegas dealer with the build date in a few weeks and was wondering how delayed it would be. Thanks

 

Here's a data point for how long I waited for an allocated vehicle:

- Reserved truck on June 5th
- Truck was built (or scheduled to be built) a few days earlier, May 27th
- Processing finished June 15th
- Truck was delivered to dealership this morning, June 16th, and took it home late afternoon

Truck was built in Baja, and delivered to a dealership just north of San Diego.

 

I’m waiting on delivery of a TRDOR built in Baja on June 4th. Know it got built that day but it’s just been sitting there ever since. Waiting for it to get loaded on a truck and come here to Tucson. Thankfully a short drive. But it’s been a total guessing game as to ETA, so your timeframe is really helpful, thanks.

 

My salesman is on vacation for 2 weeks, so who do I contact at the dealership for my permanent vin#?

I would think any other salesman could help you. If not then the sales manager.

 

I agree - if not another sales person, then certainly the sales manager. My dealership has an "Inventory Specialist" handling all allocations - so also that person, if they exist.
