2" Factory Lift Kit Just Installed

Just got the 2" factory lift kit installed on my 2022 Tacoma TRD. Very happy with how it came out. They left the fog lights intact.

 

Looks sweet! Do you have front camera? Did dealer install or you?

 

What's the measurement front ground to fender flare?

 

The dealer installed it for me. They did a good job, I don't have a front camera.

 

Not sure about the measurement, but I could check tomorrow and get back to you.

Nice! Just wondering what the lift has to do with the fog lights?

 

Some jurisdiction have foglamp height restrictions... the lift makes them too high so they have to be eliminated in those jurisdictions for legality.

It looks like it has a lot of negative caster in the front.

It's the tire in relation to the front or back of the wheel well, no?

 

Looks great man. Quick question, does this OEM lift kit just use a 2" block in the rear? I'm currently deciding on a 1 to 2" lift in the rear. Any chance you can post a few pics of the rear lift? Thanks

The trd/Bilstein kits uses a 1 inch block.

Technically they were supposed to remove the lights.

 

Toyota is out here charging $1500+ for some rebranded Bilstein front + rear shocks and a cast iron spacer block in the rear? OOF

 

I think the grill comes with it as well. Still, its cheaper to buy everything aftermarket, but not by much. If warranty and the fact the shock valving has been tuned by Toyota is important to a buyer, that is their own value decision.

 

Yes, but you get a warranty and it can be rolled into financing, because its 'Toyota' product.

 

Not by much? You can get bil 5100's all around for less than $500 plus the $50 block lol, that's a near 300% markup for slapping a Toyota sticker on it. Not counting the install that I bet they also charge an arm and leg for. You could get 6112's and an actual entirely new beefier leaf spring pack and still be cheaper than this....
