The build process is pretty easy. A lot of aluminum sheeting riveting, adhered, bolted together. Finding a donor that isn't beat to shit is another thing. I've started to do the Beetle version a dozen times. Ah well.

When I first stumbled on this company, the website was pretty rough. I thought it was some dude doing this out of his backyard. Turns out the guy started/sold Factory Five Racing. And the website has improved significantly.

I think those are like the 2 door gladiator...much easier on the eyes, at least to me. Granted I've only seen 1 2dr gladiator, but it didn't look nearly as awkward/mishap as the 4dr version.

I think I prefer the look of the 4 door bronco, but my next trail truck is going to be a short wheelbase.

I had seriously considered it years ago, but then the selling point went from anyone who wanted a Wrangler, to a select few that wanted the body style.

 

I'm not hip on 'em.. 4 doorer looks weird. prefer the 2.

 

He may mean the AEV conversion that was sold through dealers for a bit.

Dude down the street from me has one. He loves it.

 

Honestly I don't know, I saw it pass me as I was turning into my local Costco and it was stripped of any official badges. Could very well have been, because come to think of it...I've never seen another.
