Holly is a good name. Every animal I've ever owned had a 'people' name. Pete, Ginger, Sadie, Richard, Jimmy, Doug, Tony, Ed, Ralph and Elvis to name a few.

    :p

"The superlative form of stupid is most stupid, as in I made the most stupid mistake, not stupidest. Stupidest can be heard and seen everywhere, but it's wrong. (Please don't ask me to roll out my entire exposition on why finding a word in a modern dictionary doesn't make it legitimate, standard English. Paul and I have already paddled across that ocean several times.) Stupid is just like lucid (same -id ending). The comparative form is more lucid, and the superlative form is most lucid. Likewise, the comparative form of stupid is more stupid, and the superlative form is most stupid. In fact, in general, -id words use more and most instead of -er and -est. (The water was more tepid, he was the most lucid, they could have been more candid, his reflexes have grown more torpid, the milk was the most rancid, his tongue had grown more acrid. No one would even think to say tepidest, lucidest, candidest, torpidest, rancidest, or acridest.) "

That's the most stupidest thing I've ever read. :D

It actually is a word if it's in the dictionary. By definition, dictionary means,
"a reference source in print or electronic form containing words usually alphabetically arranged along with information about their forms, pronunciations, functions, etymologies, meanings, and syntactical and idiomatic uses"

It's not the correct form or standard english but it is a word.

I have 2 Boston Terriers, similiar to pugs, and they go to the snow, the lake, the sand dunes, off roading, hiking, swimming, etc. My dog before them was a 95lb mutt, these are my 1st "little dogs" and they do everything my "big dog" did.

    Holly is a nice name.
Congrats on the pug, I think giving animals as a gift is a bad idea though. I hope it works out for you both.
Something to consider, pet insurance....pugs tend to have some expensive health problems. Trupanion is a good plan.

I call her woman most of the time too instead of using her actual name. I'm all caveman like that, lol. All that sensitive guy shit went out the window when the 90s ended. Start over..........

I got the pug for the wife's B'day. 1.3 lbs @ 6 weeks. Was something she wanted and she went to pick it from the litter, so it wasn't a surprise. My only part was writing the check.
