I have an "older" mathews mission eliminator II. The last time i restrung it was 2 yrs ago. The bow guy kept shooting it. Saying its an older bow. I just laughed cuz he obviously liked it. I bought it new in 09 i think.

If you look at the bows I listed they all have one thing in common. Longer axle to axle. When bows start going under 32”, for me they don’t fit right. The smaller ATA’s have a sharper string angle and at full draw the string doesn’t touch my nose. I find myself trying to fit to the bow, which ain’t good. One exception, the Z7 is a great bow, short ATA, I shot it very well. But not as well as my 35” LX. She’s still a quick, quiet, stone cold killin’ bitch.

Yea my benefit is that I learned on this bow.. so nothing to compare it to. Probably be in the same boat as you in a few years when it’s time to upgrade lol

I got a DXT that I bought brand new the year they came out (in 2007 ????) Not a thing wrong with it, it is ME that has things wrong with it!!! Torn biceps and partially torn rotator cuff - left arm/shoulder. So, went to a Ravin crossbow and was going to give my son the Mathews. Going to go to local archery shop and have draw weight dropped from current 63 lbs to Ohio minimum (50 lbs???) and try shooting it again. Always enjoyed shooting a compound. Also had an LX and Q2XL model before this one.

One of these days I’m gonna buy a raven. Those things are sick

I drew in Colorado this year too. Gonna be an epic couple weeks or so between Montana and Colorado! My group wants to keep the CO tags so I guess we are hunting both
