I'm so glad I live in the land of craft beers. I don't like any "fizzy" beer.

 

I made my own beer when I lived in Ohio, the basement stayed the perfect temperature. Haven’t tried it in Texas, thinking about it. We don’t have basements.

I remember buying Miller Genuine Draft, 12 bottle box, for something like $8-$10. Long ago. And it really wasn't bad.

 

Pabst Blue Ribbon still tasted pretty good when there was no other beer to drink.
Still remember calling Millers (piss water), Blatz (Splats) and Budweiser (Butt wiper.)

 

False, PBR's best use is for rehydrating between ski or MTB runs!

 

Still though all three are garbage beers not worth the can they come in

Usually pick it up for $3.99 / 6pack tallboys

 

We use to get Black Label beer by the case in the 80s for next to nothing. Cheap beer tastes good when you’re poor.

After being educated as to what real beer is in the early 80's in the UK I have been unable to drink US domestic beer and have gone to local brewed IPA's

 

It seems the IPA brewer trend has been to out hop and out ABV every other brewer. They're so carried away most are just super bitter and astringent. Pass. Stout, now that's a tasty beer!
