    Good morning all. I have waited 22 years for my Tacoma! lol Sold my last Toyota Pickup in 2000. Just life in general has prevented me from getting another one. Well the time is right! Put a deposit down on May 7th. Taco built around June 4th. I take delivery June 18th. Barcelona Red DCSB SR. Let the mods begin.

    So dealer 2, which I engaged a month or so ago, messaged me that they should be allocated a Army Green 6 MT with Premium and have my name on it, 7/29 build date. Will send the build sheet as soon as they have it. Said it is what I requested, so OR DCSB, I was hoping for Mag Grey or Silver, but AG was my 3rd choice. We'll see when she gets the details. If it works out, I can't wait to tell dealer 1 (put in request Oct) who recently told me I likely would not be able to get the build I wanted and should jump on a truck they had on the lot, that I in fact DID get the build I wanted and in a few months...

    Thanks! I just tried tracking the Vin on Toyota-tracker and it's giving me the "Oops! Something is up!" error so hopefully that means mines been built and a perm VIN is available somewhere.

    Does anyone have experience with ordering a truck in Gulf States area? My temp VIN has gone cold which is a great sign but my dealership says they have no info regarding ETA or real VIN.
