    Mostly stock for now...
I should have gotten one of those countdown clocks before I retired in April - it's been a busy couple of months - I'm sure you'll have fun!

Sweet mileage, shit rate though. Young folks gotta pay to play eh.

Wish i could say my bike is faster than the taco, but I’d be lying. It’s quicker to 100km/h, but is rpm limited somewhere between 130-140....my speedo needle bounces around a lot, and is small percentage off, reading faster than I’m travelling as per the speed trap as I enter town.

Is your Versys fuel injected or carb? I figure I could lower my consumption with more road oriented tires, or taller gearing. But I like gravel touring, and I havent been able to find a larger front sprocket or smaller rear for my bike. Aftermarket has dried up for my old bike.

Thinking of getting a DR650S next year, or a Tenere 700 in a couple years. Clearly one option is way more budget friendly than the other. $4k used vs $15k after tax new. Maybe I should buy 3 DR650’s, new riding gear and fuel them up for a year.

    they are CSA certified…

Here the jack is holding entire assembly that’s only bolted to upper arm, for me to have room to wiggle shocks. After I hook it up, then I move jack under the lower arms.

After the oil change last month, the filter cap kept seeping at the flange. Replacing the O-ring didn't fix it, so I replaced the filter cap P/N 15620-36020 and replaced the ill-fitting chineseium filter wrench with Motivx MX2320, in case the old filter wrench tweaked the cap somehow.

    AM-JKLVObUrGffDy85gBwUvDWqdAiEj5ggfiLL7s_a558f78162ebbadd8fd74ca91d9f1659fdc1b6ce.jpg AM-JKLUxfU7QytKg3wB4UeI0vVrYBqZ_TqaSQXBg_c1c816760937a85c5cedf87c5680febc0101ea0c.jpg

Machined from billet aluminum, the Motivx wrench fits tighter and comes ridiculously well packaged. Almost felt bad getting oil on it

    AM-JKLWrgxqkbWPZKpnaZO3ho3cVscw87HO6mj4x_634e97cf9105113a252dee7dee04f3ef96438599.jpg AM-JKLXThMiM8YmT1la2HPufuAm0z09g2jXnbh50_7b00b638525f9f142ff2893ec11c66d94c95acdc.jpg

No seepage with the replacement filter cap. Will monitor over the next week to make sure it's fixed.
