So stocked how this coming out. The uphill capability of a trail bike and the smoothness down hill of a DH bike

Not to be a smartass, but it’s definitely going to come across that way. Why all the efficiency upgrades for a bike that does the work for you? I ask my buddy who owns 2 ebikes this all the time. He’s got a low power one that he can feel upgrades on the other not so much.

I don’t really go for efficiency. But some of that stuff claims to save a few watts, so you can run the battery longer. Probably if you get all of another mile or 2 really.

but i just like to ride my Ebike to get me to the top more so i can ride down more. Not really a guy that does jumps, like to smash through ruff stuff, thats why i put the boxxer on. I just go for what makes the DH funner and makes the bike look cool lol

Woke up yesterday and went across town to one of my favorite coffee spots and did a loop across town on my gravel bike for a total of 23 miles, and then rode 10 trail miles on the mtb. Tired is an understatement this morning haha. Also finally pulled the trigger on a 1UP quik rack in black so that's exciting.

Shit man, that sucks. Super stressful to have something that big happen and now know why. Wishing you all the best, a speedy recovery, and most of all a good diagnosis. Keep us updated.

From what I can tell, no one is taught to appreciate anybody who maintains anything it this world. It’s a rare occurrence when it actually happens.

I believe every person in this world should spend some time cleaning bathrooms in a gas station.

Otherwise, there is commonly no respect for the people who come behind us to clean up and repair.

In my area anyway I think it's more just users not knowing how much damage it causes. They see the trails repaired and don't really realize that someone took the time to take care of it.

We have a pretty good community here and many are taught to appreciate, and do appreciate. Just a bummer to know we need to do some more work out there.

We try to put info out on social media, some signs, but it doesn't always work. We have had people see something on Facebook or whatever and realize that they are doing more damage than they thought and then come out on a trail repair day. So that's a positive anyway.

Still too damn wet here. I can't believe how short this riding season is going to be.

lived in japan a few years ago and my son was going to a traditional japanese kindergarten school; the students are tasked with cleaning and upkeep of the school, no janitor to maintain cleanliness. students being conditioned at an early age to learn to pickup after themselves, and also to respect school as if it's their own household.

    Yeah.
To this day, I always clean up and put things back where they are supposed to be when finishing work on a project for the day. It all goes back to Jr. High shop class. Ten minutes before the end of class, Mr. Tindel would holler, CLEAN UP! And your work better stop right then, floor clean, and all tools put away.

As far as trail maintenance, most users are ignorant of how they got there in the first place and how they are maintained. I think most people think the park has employees that do it all. Don't even get me started on horse people that post-hole mixed-use trails in the wet. Luckily we don't have many of those around here, but back in the STL area one of the better trail systems was constantly getting wrecked by the horses.

Took a longer ride on the gravel bike this morning. This is the most climbing I’ve done on a single ride.
