Was looking for a while at local salvage yards, no luck, found this 1 on ebay with reasonable shipping.

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
Amazingly, all I did was drive my beat up, old and used up 2019. And get pulled over. Twice. Both times for speeding, however not excessively so, just enough for barney fife to get some brownie points. This is a serious question and I'm 100% at a loss and quite frustrated with this issue. My ENTIRE cluster went haywire. Now I haven't ever taken it out and done anything with it until the other day bcuz all 4 needles were going around like a clock at a pretty substantial pace. I didn't even have the truck running. I had to remove the needles from tach amd speed to keep them from hitting and messing up the fuel and temp which also aren't working right. That's not the half of it. If someone, anyone can give me a SERIOUS answer as to how my odometer is counting backwards like the doomsday clock, that would most helpful. I'm usually posting some humorous stuff but this shit has me pretty pissed off to be honest and trying to explain to the nice man with a badge that a 2019 tacoma with 85k (and counting down) has no gauges that function get a guy to raise an eyebrow. Especially when my truck looks the way it does, it's a little far fetched to believe it just started happening on its own. So please, any insight or anybody who has had this happen, get at me cuz I can't afford tickets

There was another member that did the swap and one arrived with broken tabs. They rocked one of each until the replacement LED headlight arrived.

Any tips or tricks for fishing the wire through the door grommets? The front doors especially the drivers front is a royal pain.

    The interior isn't. o_O

sounds like a warranty claim...except you took the dash apart so no go on that anymore. I've never heard of all that happening at once...heard of gauges and lights going crazy...but a counting down odometer...no offense but that's so outrageous I kinda don't believe it due to the numerous safety precautions in place to prevent just that, you have to seriously alter it to do that...an electrical glitch won't do it, could explain the gauges but not the odometer...most modern cars even driving backwards it still will go up. if true you don't need a forum (and try to post in the appropriate section) you need a mechanic, one that specializes in toyota if possible. do post any fixes though

The numerous safety precautions, according to every modern automotive wiring diagram I've read, would prove that statement true. But, I've tweaked a few things here and there so there is a slight possibility that may in fact be incapable of continuous operation.
Ur correct on just about everything I think. If I could upload a video somehow or send a video privately to someone more qualified in making better choices, I'd be happy to. The warranty has been non existing for quite sometime so I'm not worried about that. I'm just not savvy enough to fine tune a new breadboard, solder it all together, and have no real understanding of a Truly liquid crystal display. I figure now is good a time as any to learn. Note: I'll be mindful in which forum to use on the next issue.

I would look at salvage yards to get one at a better price than new purchase.
Look for 2019 and earlier as they were discontinued for some reason in '20

Very good thank you. I had an 2018 with that cubby and I miss it. I even have the metal liner box for it. :bananadance: I might even humor the idea of making the trim and door for it since I have the box.

The driver door harness rubber loom thingy is taped shut where it goes in the cab. I said screw it and cheated on that one only. Zip tied it to the outside. The rest I pulled the plug from each side of the door and cab, used a coat hanger, sprayed a little silicone grease as lube in side, squeezed the ends to make it as collapsed as possible to get the hanger thru and fish the wire

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Another great pic, love it! That’s a great trip you had there.

Yup there is a heck of a lot of beauty in BC, so much to explore.

Been at it since I was 4 years old and can’t stop.

All our family did was fish, hunt, hike, water ski, etc throughout BC, towing the 16 foot wooden boat my dad built. All year long. Ice fishing in winter throughout the Cariboo region, salmon fishing all along the Vancouver area coastline, and trout fishing all over BC. About 20 outings per year.

That’s nothing. In Kelowna BC standard gas right now is $2.14 per liter

At 80 liters it is $171 CDN. Convert to US$ it is $131 US for a fill here.

Vancouver gas is at $2.27 per liter so $139 US. Still a heck of a lot cheaper gas in the US.
