Headed to friend/ coworker in a few so I can get mower deck repaired.
Grill the meat n veggies a little later!
My mom ask me if the wife was going to make me lasagna today for FD, I said we're grilling.

 

Sadies lucky shes got an older brother to look after her, she's a purty lil girl. Cole's gonna be eatin dad outta the house here in about 5 minutes. He's gonna be 13 years old lookin down at dad .

They always told me long ago the fish were so happy in Maine they just jumped in the boat to go home with you.

I am guessing things might have changed since the sixties some what.

Well, in the 60s they might have been jumping out of the river to get away from the mercury, with most of the mills being gone and whatever has been done to clean up the Penobscot at least has become way cleaner than it was, which means you gotta work a little harder to get them in the boat! I have been to a few ponds where a net was all you needed.

 

Yea not so much.

Mower deck repaired this morning. I was happy to help Dennis bleed the brakes on his old flatbed truck afterwards. Took a picture of Oliver, he can remember the day his father bought it brand new in 1962. He said they have a family photo with it, so it must have been a special occasion.
