    Fair enough . My original point was that from the outside looking in , the projected image is that the majority ( not all ) Americans are focused on the world inside of their borders , and have little interest in the affairs of the world outside of their borders .

    Therefore , as I said , in my opinion , if you polled the entire population of the US , I bet that the majority of the population would hold the idea that the US is the only REAL free country . The reasons for that belief could be many , religious freedom , right to bear arms , right to free speech etc , but I still feel it would be there .

    I got off track a bit trying to separate myself from the citizens with tunnel vision.

    And those polling results you speak of wouldn't surprise me. There is a lot of ignorance regarding many issues globally and domestically in this country.

    And it's a shame :(
