2022 Tacoma Discussion (Canadian edition)

Picked my taco up on Saturday and then spent all day Saturday driving around. Quick photo from close to the top of Cypress. Cannot describe how happy I've been since getting the keys.

Tonneau cover is en route as well as some small interior items.

 

Picked her up on the 10th. Ordered Dec 20th. Blackout badges are on back order. Also selling the original tailights if anyone is interested.

 

I’ve noticed the JBL system in my taco is very quiet even at full volume it’s still not as loud as my stock civic system. I wondering if anyone else has experienced this, I’m hoping it’s just a software setting either on my phone or the headunit itself. Anyone know anything about this and maybe how to fix it? Or is that just how it is

 

I use my iPhone as my source for music and
Ive noticed the Bluetooth connection for audio is much lower compared to having the phone plugged into the truck and using apple CarPlay.
Not sure if that will help you.

 

Took the new trail edition out for ride up some local logging roads. Diamondback SE cover installed after sitting in my back yard for nearly a month!

 

Has anyone received a 2022 TRD Sport Premium? Curious if any are being delivered without the Blind Spot Monitoring System.

 

Just got a call from out Vancouver BC dealer that our 2022 TRD Premium will be a 2023 and there is no Army Green in 2023.

I don't think the dealer knows what is going on because they said Army Green is being replaced with Electric Lime which is a TRD Pro colour.

 

Pro colors always drill down on selected premium models the year after.

 

Mine arrived Apr 22nd,,ordered Dec...everything functions.

Was able to track down one of the last PROs for 2022. This is a May 2022 build on the door jamb, so all the rumours of no more blind spot monitors weren't true I guess.

I have a ‘22 sport premium 6MT army green. It has BSM.

 

Where'd you pick this one up? Has been tracking these things for a year. Is it manual?

 

This landed in Penticton on Friday! Got to take it for a spin and picking it up on Friday this week! Placed my order for this back on Oct 10th! It’s been a long wait but well worth it. Just a beauty! My dealership is looking into the missing hood decal, will probably be a while before I can track one down, it doesn’t look complete without it. Has anyone in Canada been able to track one down? Other then that small detail the truck looks great can’t wait till Friday for pick up!

 

Central AB dealer. This one is automatic. Couldn't find one in Calgary (placed deposit in October in Calgary) so called this other dealer in mid May and got lucky.

 

What happened to the building in the back? :/

 

It sadly burnt down! Was hit by an arsonist, was pretty crazy lost the whole dealership. Will be a while before it’s rebuilt.

 

Was this a recent delivery? I have been hearing since May the Tacoma Premium orders are being cancelled or bumped forward. I was suppose to get my Premium Sport in June and it's been bumped to Sept... tentatively
