Yesterday reminded me I was getting old. After wrenching on the truck all day Friday, Saturday my back was pretty sore.

Yep. I'm 48 and can still climb harder then most 20whatevers I meet. But I certainly can't do it 3 days in a row anymore and recovery takes a lot longer.

The distributor has no adjustment, the slots in the cam and distributor are offset so the distributor can only be installed one way round, the rotor has a protrusion that lines up with a dimple that doesn't allow it to sit flush if not lined up, the cap has asymmetric screws that can only line up one way

Toyota made it pretty idiot proof

The distributor slides into the side of the cam so cam timing dictates ignition timing

The real problem it's it sat for a decade so it's full of dirt and spiders

The code for the cam position sensor has been fixed but made no change in how it ran
