What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

My trac light went on after installing a locking gas cap. Put my oem back on and it went off.

Cheap ebay wheels. Falcon t2. They are really light compared to the procomps I had.

I like it better with out the light bar. I liked the light bar but the way it looks now is sick.

 

Finished my harness and it's ready to be installed. I would've installed it today but my tools are at work.
I did not bring my tools home because I didn't think I would finish it.

Hope to have it installed next weekend.

 

Replaced my clogged up washer nozzles. Tried everything I could to clean them out, but still wouldn't work right. Went with the Honda Odyssey ones that 1st gen folks have been using. BIG difference. Although much taller in profile.

 

I felt like a goober with it on. Its like a big wing: on race cars they look cool and serve a purpose.

 

On Friday I finally took my soft top off in preparation for the AluCab canopy install. Although I may just leave it off for a while. Kinda nice not having anything on the back for a change.

 

Heh, discovered the underlying reason my 6 speed was having issues getting into gear.

Hint, it wasn’t the master/slave cylinder I just replaced, or air in the lines..

second hint, it was the pressure plate bolts coming partially loose making the pressure plate move away from the engine when clutch is pressed.

Not yet. Didn't need it with the Bilsteins. Will probably do it soon with the Kings.

 

I’m looking for some lighter wheels as well. I have fuel hostages and if the spec sheet is right then they’re around 30lbs. I been looking at the summit raptors or FN Countersteer type x


Did you notice a difference going to a light wheel?

 

I'd really love to do something like this

 

Installed a taco lean spacer, and finally took my new 6112/5160 set up "offroad"

You'll definitely need it with 285's and spacers, and probably a pretty aggressive one.
