That's why I gave up giving my dad film recommendations.
For years I really tried but, and I'm not judging, it just wasn't going to happen.
Not even semi-indie like Jarmusch or even Lynch. I did get him into some Guy Ritchie flicks and he loved Good Will Hunting which is the only Van Sant he's watched.
Insert someone like Jason Statham or Gerard Butler, or whatever shit Eastwood is slinging or some other action flick, and all in lol.
    Different strokes.
As long as people lay money down at least movies keep getting made.
*Just pumped he doesn't like comic book movies.
**To be fair, Hess hasn't had a stellar run besides Dynamite

To be fair, The Transporter and Olympus Has Fallen are two of the greatest action movies ever made.

The first Transporter is 100% solid. I won't argue that for a minute. Besson writing and Leterrier and Yuen directing, they nailed it. Some awesome driving too. I was thinking more like...The Meg. Statham is great, I think he just ended up getting plugged into that one-dimensional role ya know? I mean Lock Stock and Snatch, cmon. Even Crank was fucking wonderfully weird.
The Butler movies I never got into though. I think they're doing a new one though so people dig em.

I don’t understand how in the last 40 years computers go from car size to iPhone size, we have god only knows what kind of space tech and I can zoom 20 people in 20 countries from a phone. But, car shows have not advanced or changed 1 single bit since I was an infant.

Like car television shows or car shows in person like where old fucks sit in their lawn chair and tell you how their dime a dozen C5 Corvette is a 1 of 1...

Stratham has been is so many damn movies I've lost track. The first Transporter is hands down his best. The fight sequences in that are insane. There are movies with better sequences. One of the best if The Perfect Weapon with Jeff Speakman. He's a black belt in Ed Parkers kempo and his hand speed is off the charts. None of the fight sequences are edited or sped up. Watching his hands is like watching Bruce Lee. He's that fast.

Butlers best acting is probably Law Abiding Citizen. Another movie worth watching.

Exactly! 100 60-70’s Camaros, novas, bel airs, 1 fucking truck and a bunch of kit crap that I won’t even look at unless it’s to spit some dip towards. Awards for idk what under hoods, one fucking LS swap and not a single turbo at a massive car show. Prob an average 1/4 mile time of 14 sec. With the leave, my Subaru is right in the mix.

Moore's law. Proposed by Gordon Law in 1965. Transitors in integrated circuits will double every 2 years. For the past 20 years people have been saying it would become obsolete. It hasn't.
