I know a guy who gets close to 50! Does yours have A/C? A/C was available on the Festiva, but I have not seen one in person that has A/C...

The HVAC issue has been solved! My mechanic is currently on vacation down the shore for the week (I live in Southeast Pennsylvania, and "down the shore" in my area refers to various parts of the Jersey Shore in my neck of the woods, in case anybody didn't know); There is a guy named Joe who works for him is what I would consider a Toyota wizard, for lack of a better term. He bought my friend's mom's 2007 Camry Hybrid with almsot 200K miles and seemingly dead hybrid driver system earlier this year, for just a thousand bucks. He painstakingly rebuilt the battery pack and got the car running again; Before buying the Camry, his sole mode of transportation was a mint 2007 Sequoia SR5 with 200K miles. The Sequoia is in excellent condition and runs and drives great; However, it's gas mileage is utterly attrocious, so he primarily drives the bargain Camry that he brought back to life!

Anyway, I forget what stuff he used, but he basically refurbished the connector and all of the grounds!:cool:

My truck is now ready for the big roadtrip to Syracuse next month!

How are you doing with the heat wave? It was brutal here last Friday, but the entire weekend was uncharacteristically cool for mid-June in Southeast Pennsylvania!

    Good to hear.

Like I said, that’s what I would have done myself.

Even though it's 90 today it's not humid so not overly stuffy like last week.

We haven’t had any outages. Our electric company did ask everyone to limit use during peak times. Evidently that didn’t work. So I guess they decided to play the old “Can’t use what you can’t afford” strategy.

Everyone here has had their electric bill go up $50-$150 dollars. I’ve set my thermostat to 77 when home and 80 when I’m not.
