Yeah, I was kinda vague in my remark. I was, (in my mind) thinking that today’s vehicles don’t get the price paid for, compared to longevity of said vehicle. Like they used to. But what do I know, could be completely wrong.

Hard top or soft top? Soft top looks weird when down. Maybe I’m used to the jeep top dropping pretty much all the way down. The Bronco, when folded down is still 3/4’s of the way up in the back when I see ‘em.

So I'm hoping I can knock out the remaining wiring work next weekend, but my FiL and I knocked out much of the fab related work today.

Also eventually had planned to streamline the tail lights, but had to step it up due to the new jack mounting location. So I pulled the brake, tail, turn lights and cut off the side tabs that were mounted to the frame.20220618_172132.jpg

Ordering new slimline brake, tail, turn lights that are surface mount and will fit on the rear 2" tube. Also getting a 7pin plug w/ 8ft harness to run down/back the new straight tongue and tie into the pvc conduit runs we've setup.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I think a lot of it has to do with how you financially approach the car purchase and what you intend to buy. 35k for a big three mid level car vs 40k for a proven 300k mile manufacturer, trade in, down payment or even cash. My first new truck was a zero down 60 month finance on a Ranger I put nearly 200k on. But do that on a vehicle you will probably trade before 30k, not a good idea. I did my research with the last purchase. That's why I'm here and not on a Ranger forum.

Hard top for daily driver mode, retractable or removed for fun. Soft top is too noisy and I like some quiet. Or to be able to talk to.the shot gun rider.

When do we get to do some welding??
    :welder:
The removable top and doors was definitely a draw to me when I was thinking of getting a Gladiator but I'm happy with a sunroof and it's much more practical (which is code for saying I'm old)

I'm sure there's plenty of welding fixes and absent spots in this thing...assuming it makes it over Afton Mtn!!!

Well my fuel system isn’t working. I think I need a lift pump system like a diesel. Any suggestions?

Need more information. You just replaced the tank, right? All working previously? Any testing done?

Not to steal Chris' thunder, but I have figured out what my EVAP leak is. Bad news is that it's a simple plastic nipple on top of the gas tank. Nipple is long gone. Not sure what's involved in a fix..... Other than dropping the tank.

I have a gas tank at my house with all the “nipples” intact if they are the same tank.
