I would burn that to the ground. The freaking pandemonium that show has caused up here is complete bullshit. I cringe every time I see Dutton merch.

Less people spots would suit me. Big reason I love going to the cabin.

i know you mean well but i hate that damn show. never seen it, don't want to
covid brought on flux of people moving here. that show spurred a whole other stampede of people trying to buy up land.
i have some permethin. didn't bother with it since i was in camp - gravel and asphalt - and not out bushwacking on a hike or anything. gonna have to get better at remembering

No worries, it's just aboot impossible to add the flare of sarcasm into my reply. I didn't take your reply the wrong way. I was trying to find a Steve Martin 'Wellll, excuuuussse me' kind of gif but gave up searching. I thought that maybe the googly eyed smiley face would work.

It sucks for everyone that the wealthy just keep buying up land and eventually gentrify the area.

On different note, I had about 45 minutes of daylight left and I felt the need to accomplish something outside, so I grabbed the bucket, Maguire's car shampoo and got the Taco and the 4runner washed. I don't remember the last time that I hand washed either one of them. I forgot how good the old Desert Dune Metallic looks when it's clean. One of my all time favorite Toyota colors.

I told my stupidvisor at the current job that I had an offer that I was going to accept, he asked me to wait until tomorrow so that we could talk with HR to see if they can convince me to stay there. Sure, I will let them pay me for an hour of time while I get more hot air blown up me arse from the same HR that tried to railroad me out of getting the short term disability while I was down for a month from Covid and the same HR that told me there were no CNC programming positions in the shop while all the time there is still 2 vacancies for that position. I'm done with them but whatever, I will waste an hour and get paid for it.

I had one of these damn things on my leg two days ago. My son and I were trimming some low hanging branches and hauling them back to the edge of the woods. Came walking back towards the house and saw it. Seems as soon as I started moving towards the house quickly it bolted halfway up my leg before I quickly picked it off. They are aggressive and fast! Nasty buggers!
