I honestly don't use it much. Windows down all the way. I'm going into a hot building, might as well condition myself. Now on the way home I'll turn it on occasionally.

Yea it ain't cooling like it should and the compressor is squealing. Gonna schedule it to be checked here shortly when I take it in for the 20,000 mile service.

    Edit: 20k, not 200k o_O

Almost caught supper a little while ago. At least an 8, may turn into a 10, if he’ll stay out of the road!

Work. I'm not feeling it today. Hopefully I can pull out of it. Those that have good jobs be grateful...good meaning any job that you don't dread going to every day.
:pccoffee: sometimes I feel in a tailspin of sorts...want to give them 2 weeks notice n say say seeya. Tired of being shat on.

Ah, life’s shit sandwich… the more bread you have, the less shit you eat.
Hopefully your coworkers help you “power through” those shit days. You gotta love either the job or the people you work with.

Being mechanically inclined outnumbered by coworkers who are:
    1. not mechanical
    2. have low levels of common sense at times
    3. want to take control of the conversation/meeting and try to make everyone agree with their opinion

I have my days when I need to work from home. I don't enjoy sitting in front of a computer all day tracking down parts, submitting orders, writing work orders, etc., but I need time away from them!

:anonymous: I stayed on nights for 5 years because I'm a night owl. I coulda came to days 4 years ago. Since my wife is feeling better she took a day shift position at her company instead of the remote anytime job. More money and a solid work schedule. So I had to decide if I wanted to see her at all or sleep/work when she was up. I decided to see my wife lol

Working nights is for the birds! The pay diff doesn't make it worth it to me, but our diff is only $1 an hour more for 2nd. If it was 5 I might think about it.

My old man did nights for 25+ years. I just thought he was permanently grumpy. No, nights just do that to you. Between people knocking on the front door and the phone ringing, people don't respect day sleepers.

I feel this hardcore. Its a union shop and salary treats us like we're red headed step children half the time. Our union leadership likes to politic most of the time instead of fighting for us so there's that too. Though I normally spend less than 5 years in a job, as I always find something better elsewhere. Hard to beat $34/hr right now with the economy.

Ours is $0.85, color yourself lucky for the extra .15 cents!
I hope next contract they negotiate it as a percentage.
