Put my deposit down January 18th. Nothing complicated but still waiting. Maybe it's the fact I want a Lunar Rock? I'm getting increasingly frustrated.

In general, Army Green and Lunar Rock are the hardest to find since they're the least produced colors by Toyota. Four months is awhile without an allocation but based on what I've seen from others that's not a crazy wait, especially if you're looking for other packages too (tech, advanced tech, premium, etc.). I was looking for a more rare option (Lunar Rock or Army Green, DCLB, OR, premium, advanced tech) and the local dealer I was working with told me it would be 6 months potentially. I started hunting around to try and find one that was already allocated and available (maybe someone backed out or switched their order) and found one out of state in Nebraska that was available and already built (still waiting for it to be delivered to the dealer though). I had waited for a month with no word from the original dealer and then found one available in less than a week. If you're willing to contact a bunch of dealers and drive out of state (or get creative and write some code to search VINs and find matches like I did) you can really increase your odds of finding one like you mentioned.

The dealer I went to has a Sport in AG but no idea if it's already reserved:

7 month wait for me, no allocation yet. But I'm wanting for long bed, premium OR, advanced tech. I don't want anything less, so I'll just wait, I don't care if I have to wait to a 2024 model . I'm in no rush

@Rod03 would you mind providing an update on 3TMCZ5ANXNM498464? I’m wondering if I’m still on QC hold. Thanks

My truck was on QC hold until today, now it shows "G" but no ETA and no location (per v-spec). Should I be expecting it at the dealer really soon or it could still be weeks?

Yes I think you should hear from them soon! I just got a text from my dealer that mine was on a truck and being delivered today and it just moved to "G" on toyota-tracker.com at the same time. I also received some door unlock notifications in the app this morning and the odometer has a reading now.

Waited with one dealer for 7 months with no movement. Reached out to another mid May, picked up the truck last weekend. Was a May build as well so just got lucky.

While an AG sport is rarer than others, I saw many of these allocated and unsold when I used Autotrader.com to search various dealers. By putting a deposit down with a dealer who doesn’t have an allocation, you will be waiting a while. The key is to first find a truck allocated, then approach that dealer to see if it’s unsold, then put a deposit down.
