Agreed, plus I don't remember there being many interesting features (rock gardens, etc) other than the man-made high centering ramp thing (which I didn't take a pic of for some reason) that Nick and I came across when we got separated from the rest of the group.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I like it for the change of pace. There were a couple of good looking campsites looking over the valley I wouldn't mind taking advantage of, but not until the intake is addressed.

I can only go off of the photos but if you use the tires as a reference point it appears to be about 28” deep or so.

We also like going through puddles on bikes haha. They say the only rule for water crossings is to not be the first one to cross, but I think you get the best footage that way.

Hope life out “west” is treating ya good Ryan!

Thanks JT, its going well! Hope you, Tiff, and the dogs are enjoying the warmer, but maybe too warm, weather! Without homework and school, I've been able to be more active which makes you feel good inside and out. In a summer ultimate frisbee league and doing a lot of road and mountain biking. This is also my first internship where I haven't been the only intern, so the comradery is great. Next up is to try to get some stick time on a dozer at the proving grounds lol

not as cool of a shot as yours, but this is a little doozy I got myself into. ran it all the way up to the root, which had the front tire fully submerged, and resulted in the reverse of shame lol

So we should do a bike / truck run on Peters Mill Run. We saw a spot or two that looked like that mud hole. No, we saw it, did not enter it! It is a different trail from when I ran it last.

Nice man, I throughly enjoy some team banter. I just finished up my internship & college, my team brought me on FT, and throughly enjoyed the experience. Outside of the homework.

We get by in the heat with these little Walmart specials, AC (or some other perverted joke) in the office or tent!

I can’t see the picture so I can only speculate… my best guess is you were driving a larger than life wheeled tractor?

*edited to add picture because sparing hurts my head and I forgot to add the picture hah*

Tiffany just showed me a FB post on a Jeep page that had a few dudes semi-submerged, have they always mud holes? I just remember the little pond near the uphill obstacle.

crap, not sure why the pic isn't showing up. Its actually my xr200 in a big puddle and I had to back it out by speading myself out over the hole and walking backwards.

Thats great that they scooped you up after the internship, then you got to avoid the job search mess!

The only one I remember was the one someone in a White Taco snapped part of a running board off trying to climb out. That one isn't there anymore, and my in truck maps veered off the "mapped trail" a few times. Dave and I did a little hill climb that wasn't there before either. There were two new gates that were still shiny, so they have to be fairly recent. The holes we didn't venture into certainly seemed capable submerging something.
