Finally got around to talking to the plumber to have him replumb the house with PEX. 70 year old copper lines ain't long for this world. He's already had to fix a couple of leaks and replaced those sections with PEX.

You should at least ask what they use and do some research. I'm assuming it won't come cheap, so you should be informed about what you are or arent getting.

It's a guy that does it on the side. But I've used him several times. He's shows up when he says, he does a great job and he's very reasonably priced. Any pex he uses will be better than what's there. But why is one better than another?

Pex A is a bit better but if he uses Pex B, still not a bad product either.

If I was a plumber, especially in an old house with a crawl space, I'd go Pex A with the power tool all day long.

I like that cook table. Been thinking about picking up something along those lines. Stainless steel?

Been a while since I’ve seen that price. I’m driving by a Lowes Foods this evening, I’ll stop in and see if they’re running that price there. Thanks!

We used to see those prices when we still had Bi-Lo, but the KJ's Market has good deals on meat, too -- same people that own Lowe's Foods. It's just a bit of a drive to get to the closest one.

Food Lion used to have $.99/lb. pork butts about once a month. Haven’t seen that price very often in the past year and a half or so.

Food Lion took over one of the Bi-Lo stores here when it closed. KJ's took over another one. They do have some pretty good deals at times, too.

I scored the 99 cent a lb pork but from the food lion over by the hospital a few weeks ago. They limited it to 3. I buy em all the time when they are that cheap to blend for sausage and snack sticks for deer and elk.

Yeah, and it bends a lot easier.

I just did some Pex B stuff this past weekend to fix a few minor leaks in my house. Either way, A or B, it's so much easier doing crimp fittings versus waiting on glue to dry.

Man, I didn't know it was on sale or I would have snagged a couple myself! My smokers need attention and pork butt is a no brainer.
