Still young for retirement. Also, house mortgage :(.
La Mesa to Sorrento valley and back every day, also drive to running trails. I only get 15.5mpgs.
    Don't tempt me. ;)

I commute to from Lake Murray to Coronado everyday, got sick of driving the truck and bought a Crosstrek, averages 30+ mpg including all my other errands around town. Went from filling up every week to every two weeks. It's also smooth, quiet and more comfortable than the truck lol.

I second a dual sport too though! Then you can split lanes when traffic sucks

Out of curiosity. Do you know what your angles are at. Full droop, ride height and full stuff?

Not sure at droop and bump but we hd it parallel to the carrier and then 2 deg down after at ride height...shouldve measured it earlier when i was cycling my rears as i was worried about hitting the cross member like the first time i set it..but cleared everything...(took apart my leaf springs again for the 5th time)...

Looking for a workspace to replace my fuel pump. Not having much luck so far with shop prices, and doing it myself in my apartment complex isn’t exactly ideal. If anyone is willing to lend their driveway and maybe a few tools I can provide a 30 pack of your favorite beer :)

I recently got a membership to Gearheads garage. You can rent a lift and tools by the hour. You don't need a membership it's just 35 an hour without as opposed to 20 with. Only downside is they're closed Sun & Mon, and they're slammed on Saturdays.
    Check em out.
    They're up in Oceanside

You pay by the hour, no time limit that I know of. They're 8-5pm but I'm sure if you don't finish for the day you can leave your truck there(might cost extra), there were 2 cars in the shop last time I went that weren't compete when they opened up in the AM.

Sorry about that I went and checked and "THOUGHT" I had responded but I apparently did not! So I have 2 sets of King blue springs and one set of Fox and they are not the proper spring rate for what you need, sorry about that buddy!!! But if you get new springs I can take care of it for you, not a problem.

Anytime and if it isnt working out properly I will make sure its corrected. There are baselines for setting up pinion angle but those are somewhat arbitrary since there are other factors that come into play when cycled since different springs will flex more or less, but Ill make sure its dialed in!

Shoot, I've been talking to Marie from former Headstrong and I want to go but I have to meet up with my suspension tuner for my racebike (2021 Yamaha YZ450FX) on Saturday am after doing some spring and valving changes on Friday so I can get it all dialed in for next racing season. Dang I really need to get out with my people!! It gets kind old just working on stuff all day long and not doing anything I consider to be "off-time" I mean I love my job but I need to do more than just work every minute of every day so I don't end up being a crazy person, haha..
I'm super fortunate to have so much work and repeat customers (hence my lack of pictures in my work thread, slacker!!!) but that's just me being lazy and maybe a little apprehensive since I have been so busy I rarely have a day I am not working for someone else besides myself. That being said I haven't posted since I have been slightly overloaded for a few months in a row so wasn't trying to drum up more work than what just comes in organically since I have a HUGE customer base that tends to keep be slammed. I gotta say I am super fortunate for the awesome people I have worked with from many forums, many of which I never even post on (this one included) and I hardly even post here anymore like I used to just because I am so busy and what free time I do have I end up using to do work around my house and property, those who have seen the transition might understand what I mean by that sinece its come a long way since I moved in here in 2017 (wow that's a long ass time now, time flies!!).

Anyway are you planning on staying until dark and have a bonfire or what's your tentative plan? I haven't seen you since the last Fiesta meet!! Seems like years ago, lol...Hope you are doing well Aaron!! Always good to see you bud! If you guys are planning on staying late I might be able to swing it depending on how long I end up at the motocross track getting my boingers dialed in by my tuner...but I usually spend a lot of time trying to get it set up pretty good so I don't have to suffer through 3.5 hours of a brutal National races wishing I could tap my heels 3 times and "poof" myself away since those types of Hare and hound races get harder with every loop and since I have to race in A or AA class I really gotta "Give her the beans" as well as run all the loops (usually 3 loops) in order to try and win these races which is not an easy task! So if all goes well I may be able to break away by 1 or 2 pm but its an hour from my house and then another 45 minutes to Fiesta not to mention taking shower and whatnot...so it would be 5 or 6 pm before I could make it out which seems far too late if you are kicking it off early in the day, I know how that stuff goes..

Yes there is, closing time and you are out! I'm not exactly sure on how they deal with jobs that run into the next day when the truck is disabled, it seems like they would just start the clock again at opening time the next day regardless if you show up or not, I really don't think there is any other way to do it when a job runs longer than anticipated.

This is a game changer. Paying for your own labor. I’ll take that any day over a shops labor. I’m being quoted around $700 for fuel pump replacement from a few shops. Idk if that’s a good deal or not, regardless I’d rather do it myself at this place. Thanks gents!

Wow that's quite a lot, you can either drop the tank after you run it down to less than 1/4 tank (my preferred method) or you can tilt the bed which is a lot more work IMO. Just drive it till its almost out of gas and just loosen the tank straps under the bed (after loosening the fuel fill hose from the side of the bed) and it's not so bad to access the fuel pump assembly.

BTW I forgot to post the new addition to my family! Meet Rocky, he’s a mix half/half of Husky and pit. So he likes to be very vocal.
Paired with Anza, my Ridgeback/pit mix. Both are 50/50 mix, I have an affinity toward pitties since I really like them when they are trained properly, and they are awesome guard dogs!! You will get to meet Rocky next time, they have such different personalities. He is almost 8 months old so he's still a bit of a Doofus, but he's getting better!

Yup, he definitely likes ya! That little bastard becomes Helen Keller all of a sudden, usually it's when he sees the gate start to open, he occasionally decides to do whatever the hell he wants and completely ignores me. We're still working on that part of it, haha.
And yeah he was ready to go on a road trip with you...
