On that note. If anyone wants to buy this aluminum bumper kit off me, let me know. I think I'm going to go another route.

Its a good kit, really detailed instructions. Just better suited for someone who can work with aluminum themselves or has the connections to get it done for minimal cost.

Workin on a template to cut down on the guesswork for swapping in a tundra rack...will be testing it out in a couple weeks to check measurements on a few installs I'm doing comin up....once ironed out one of these will come with every rack purchased through me along with the frame bugs and mount hardware....trying to make this as easy as possible for people if they choose to go this route with thier steering

And on the aluminum subject the only way to be cost effective welding aluminum in a shop setting is to do it with a pulse mig machine....and even then they're still finicky and they cost around 9k for a decent one

Damn. Yeah most of the small shops I’ve talked to aren’t down to try it. I got a quote from Kalilfab for $1700 for one of his bumpers installed. So gonna see if I can break even selling the aluminum.

I feel like that’s a steal for a custom bumper that’s not mass produced.

Did you talk to Nick at SNF? He did mine installed and tie into the JD pivot for much less than 1700.

Yeah seems decent for the money nowadays.

I haven’t yet. Waiting for my old suspension and the aluminum bumper to sell for cash flow reasons. But I’ll hit him up before I make my final decision, both him and Kalil have dealt with integrating the lower pivots so that’ll make things easier. I haven’t decided if I want to go prerunner bumper with a valance or tube style like yours. After all the original plan was plate haha.

Need some direction here. I’m not long travel, but y’all guys know more about the front and rear ends of these trucks than anyone.

I need to relocate these brake lines in the front. Need to get it off the side of the frame for the secondary bypass be rotated so the tires are not rubbing on the bypass tube at full lock. Was gonna relocate it to the top part of the frame.

    Anyone got some tips.

Not to good with brakes, I can do the basics.

Get longer crown brake lines and go from the 90 degree frame mounted fitting direct to the caliper. Make sure to secure the line to UCA or spindle to ensure it always stays clear of the bypass.

If it was me (I hate bending tube brake lines) I would get a braided stainless line and run it all the way up to the other junction that is already on the top of the frame.

This is exactly how JD does their brake lines they supply with their LT kits. Straight from that upper junction down to the caliper.

Crown performance will make you anything you need. Call them up and explain what you need. Just measure beforehand so you know what length you need.

I can vouch a third for Crowns quality! Have had them make all my custom lines including my clutch line and all have been working amazing so far.
