I tried to go on my Honeymoon, but wife and I got into an accident in Auburn MA. Now she refuses to go through that state. Theres only a couple others to cross to get to Maine and Acadia.

A guy from instagram lives in Acadia. He invited me up there and he will show us around. I just need to get there.

oh btw, Im kind of thinking of taking my moto up to CT/RI in September. I will message you to find the cool tourist spots. I want to take the ferry from LI to CT.

    Definitely!

Also the vt NH route is 1000x better than the mass Pike to get to Maine anyway.

David is way more chatty, hands down. :anonymous:

David -> :blahblah: vs me ->

Someone on here once insinuated that I might be guilty of padding my post count........I think they were kidding. Honestly, I could give two shits.

However, I'm humbled by two members on here I can call Brothers that set the bar, and that's what I hope to achieve some day. Just for the fuk of it.

Rob has been known to multi quote more posts than any reasonable person could possibly quote… I’ll need to see if I can track one down… he probably had 30 quotes in a single post before…

Personally, I think it's because you're getting older and slower but that's just my opinion. <3

@hyrule_trd Eric is an excellent successor to that throne though, if and when you do retire.

    Sup Brandon?

I know, I'm just messing around. It is a very cool light though.

Well, you tell me....my 18v drill didn't have enough ass to drive a 3" zinc lag bolt into a telephone pole, and I had to resort to me and a socket wrench. And I snapped two doing that. In hindsight, if I had backed it out, then drove it In again it might have worked.

In another case, a battery operated Dewalt beat out my Earthquake air impact wrench removing lug nuts once. Could be my compressor, but it's a 150 psi Craftsman Pro........

So I feel like sometimes I just need more power. And it would be nice to know I have a nice impact tool for trail repairs if/when I needed.

You of all people should know I sell things off and then think “Hmm, I want that again”

My soft topper saga is funny. Got one with a plan to sleep under it for my TX road trip in 2020. It was HOT, and not super water tight, so I sold it off after the trip. Then I got my cab setup, and wanted to stash an MTB in the bed. So I got a soft topper for that, to be able to stash the bike in the bed protected, and I could pull up to a campsite and it would be a lot safer from theft (out of sight, at least). But then I never really did that, and didn’t really use it, so I sold it. Got a bed toolbox with the intent of using that for trip storage, dog food and cooler IN the toolbox, would be mint! ….. neither fit. So, now I have a soft tri fold with the same ambitions, I just need a cargo bar to hold my crap down. A 20# tank in a milk crate fits under there, and I can see out the back.

But I like the soft toppers, they’re nice, so if I see one for 150$ ish, I would absolutely jump on it just to have it around for funsies.

Well, it sounds like you need a set of bed bars so that you can secure that bike with a couple of cable locks!
