I just ordered me a pair of the greasable shackles……then hopefully I can quit tearing them apart to grease up and get rid of the fabled Tacoma squeak!

Sweet! It sucks to install them coz the leaf packs basically need to come out to get that top shackle bolt out.. but after that it's nice lol. Can definitely feel the leaf pack moving smoother with these vs the stocks and the zerk fittings are great I wish the other parts of my leaf packs had zerks as well - debating tapping them lol.

Hey thanks for the info @drizzoh - fortunately I have a lift, so I am going to do the install when I do the ECGS upgrade. And good idea, when I replace the other poly bushings, I think I will tap and zerk those as well. MAN that is annoying hearing the stinking Tacoma squeak!

Are those baking cup liners in the cup holders? That'd be a great idea for trail mix.

Nothing wrong with the "faux" TRD Pro shift knob. Those are the ones I use to do my illumination mod.

I bought a harness for my SR5 off Johnny aka @Puppypunter. I didn't end up using but I like holding onto it just incase I ever want to sell my Morimotos for OEM's

Put a Yakima wind fairing on my Yakima racks today. I used mounting brackets from two different fairing styles, and relocated the mount points on the fairing to make this work with my basket and it came out great. Greatly reduced wind noise too! Last 3 trucks all had opening rear window. Pretty useless for anything except vacuuming out bed and hauling 12 & 16 footers home. Plan to have one on next truck also.

Spent the weekend swapping in a set of Nitro 4.88 gears. A big difference driving it today, on sections where it used to hunt between 4th and 5th, it now sits in 6th easily. Much nicer rpm range. Super happy so far!

image.jpg Added a 50w solar panel to recharge the auxiliary ‘house battery’ when base camped - nerdy but 1/5th of the cost of a hood mounted one. I have a second folding one I can take out with an extra 100w if needed also for our larger refrigerator and for the toys such as for Droney McDroneface, etc. It can be adjusted to face the sun on both sides of the truck, and cn be removed when not camping.
