Youtube always takes days for the 4k to process, minimum 12 hours to 3-4 days. It's faster if I add in a track of their free music though...

Something similar to this just popped on on one of the FJR forums so I'll post it here as well.

Old helmets can be donated to local fire departments, EMTs, or ambulance groups for use in training. I've been doing this with my old lids for several years. They need this stuff to train and practice with so when needed in the real world they're familiar and comfortable with removing a helmet from an accident victim. Best possible Karma is to do this.

My neighbor has one. It sounds crazy when you start it, for being stock.

I thought it was Africa Twin time though

Thats a great idea. A mutual friend of ours is a firefighter so Ill see if he can take it off my hands and bring it to the station.

That's really cool! Gotta get out of the shot though to make it more epic.

Is this a "follow me" style drone or are you controlling it? That sand looked exhausting. The follow me style drones I think are the coolest, especially since a lot of the trips I do are solo.

I wasn’t super impressed when I went to buy one. Test ride was underwhelming.

Skydio 2, follow me style but it does manual flight ok but isn't nearly as responsive to commands as a DJI but it has 360° obstacle avoidance which is great for a beginner drone pilot. I've never crashed it while flying though had a couple mishaps taking off and landing in high winds. The later videos of the other people coming up the hill are manual flight with a controller starting at 10:55, from 7:58 to 10:54 is manual flight just using my phone and an occasional auto-follow target lock to control it (my group was coming up quick behind me and I didn't have time to get the full controller out).

I like flying to capture others, but when it's just me it can be pretty sweet but is best with more open views to get better shots when in auto follow mode also the auto-follow is a little finicky with lower light situations when it's cloudy when riding a moto through a narrow 1-lane road flanked by medium or larger trees. Get to a two lane road and it's not so bad but I usually don't fly it on the roads.

I did! Guy in my neighborhood bought it!

I saw that! Looks sweet but also saw this - https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/mcy/d/arlington-immaculate-2014-yamaha-fz1/7498601732.html. Not really a "track" bike but I could make it work!

Looking is on hold for now, though. Whole family is recovering from Covid (two weeks out and I'm still feeling fatigued all the time!) and the wife and I are leaving for a sister's Cali wedding on Friday. Not really the start to summer I was envisioning a few months ago...

Just left work early feel like I was hit by a truck. Tested negative for covid so I'm guessing a stomach bug. I'll probably test myself again tomorrow. I'm off for the next 4 days so that's a plus

There are false negatives. Wait a couple days and then try again. Hopefully its just the stomach bug

Thought I was INVINCIBLE! Spent two years working with kids and staff who were dropping like flies and never felt a thing. Came home a week and a half ago, felt fine, took a quick nap, and woke up feeling like I'd been hit at the base of my neck with a baseball bat! Felt terrible for the next two days but got progressively better each day after that. Just have ongoing fatigue and nausea but it's lessening each day.

Good luck to both of you!

Few pics from our trip this past weekend in SW VA. Heard about this motorcycle only camp ground in Meadows of Dan, VA. I’d recommend checking it out if you are riding in the area. 28A44C2D-3348-4862-9BE9-E079C7ABF8A9.jpg

Deepest water crossing on the trip, little squirrelly but fun.

I'm on my second covid pump right now. Just a small cold this time. Easy day.
