Passenger side wear is normally 5-10% more than the driver’s side on these trucks and nobody knows why. On some trucks its worse than others.

on my truck, the inside pad on the passenger side has always worn the fastest out of the four pads :notsure:

I wouldve thought driver side would wear ever slightly faster with the extra bit of weight on that side.

Some claim its the wear and tear of the passenger side always being in the “gutter” of the road or the dirty side, others claim toyota added more bias to that side since the driver’s side has the battery, the driver, and the gas tank all weighing it down

Somehow all my brake problems are gone now. No more wheel pulling to the right, brakes feel good st medium pressure. Maybe the rotor had to seat when I put the spacer on?

Anyways the spacer is coming off when i get new tires in July. Planning on ordering up some 285s KM3 and seeing how those work. Runner up was Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT

You don't like the Cooper S/T Maxx? I tell ya son, been the best tire I've ever had. Quiet, smooth and great in bad weather. They perform well offroad too.

Ahhhh. I can relate. I've run Duratracs, great tire, and Nitto's, the Trail Grapplers. Another great tire. But the Maxx, for me, beats them both.

You know what is a tire I'd like to try? Pro Comp A/T Sport. It looks like a really good all terrain tire.

    wanna be mods
I had them as a pro comp package when I bought it back in mid 2018. There are a few pics of the Taco here

They were pretty quiet, handled pretty well, but never saw anything more severe than my "mortar test range" equivalent of a dirt and slightly graveled road we live on.
They handled the one major snow storm we had (8-11") over an afternoon. Didn't put but 26k or so before selling wheel and tires after going to 17s and these GY Ultraterrains.

I was in between ST Maxx, STT Pro, KM3, and a new Cooper Discoverer AT3 XL. Came down to price mostly. KM3 were $300 more. I would like to try them eventually. Maybe next go around. Plus I barely wheel anymore, so why get mud tires?

New tires should be here on Thursday next week.

Its a weird feeling going down a tire size. Going from 315/75/16, to 285/75/16.

    OH THE MYSTERY!!!!!!!! :boom::goingcrazy:

I don't know that XL, but I do see an XLT (not splitting hairs, or being a smartass, just know some places have tires that are exclusive). I was kinda hoping you were going for the Discoverer Rugged Trek :pout: Because I am very curious about it.

They don't come in a friendly 16 is why I didn't mention them sooner.

    And

I'm still in the dark about "the purchase".

Sweet. Gonna look so good on those F5's. I like the skinnies a lot. It will be my tire from now on. Unless I am broke at the time and need something right away. But since I am adding 20% more life doing a 5 tire rotation I expect to get well over 30k out of them. It's just gonna hurt when I need 5 more. So I am trying to save a little here and there now.

Nice choice David, even though you knew it already. Just glad because I know more than anything they are safe on the road too. :fistbump:
