    So, what's the verdict on these on the 3rd gens without using a transmission mount as well? It seems like people are kind of split on it -- obviously a solid mount on one end and a rubber mount on the other is going to "wear" differently, but I guess I'm not knowledgeable enough to know what is worse.

    Full write-up on that on my webpage if you want the long answer. Short answer is its completely fine to run a poly engine mount and an OE trans mount. Just not the other way around.
