Ha! I just wondered if the Sr5 tires would look tiny.

All the stock tires are basically the same size. The diameter is the same across the board and and TRD trims come with tires 20mm wider. Not sure about the limited.

IMO it’s up to you. Me personally I ran my stock off-road tires for a bit With the lift before I got wheels and tires. When Those wear or you decide to bump up. You can go 265/75/16 will look even better with the lift. Just my opinion and also don’t know your plans for the truck. That also depends.
    Good luck

I've got 275/70/17's on the 4Runner TRD rims. No rubbing regardless of the geometry. Quite a bit of trail rides and no issues. You'll be happy with the TRD OEM lift, unless you do some really serious "hero" off-roading.

So it sounds like the answer is….
A 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport with a factory lift kit can handle…
    275/70/17 tires
    With no issues …
    So
    275/70/17’s it is

    I don’t think a 255/85/17 would fit…if they even make one..

I have had 285/75/16s on my 22 with the TRD Lift since November and haven’t had any rubbing or anything once!

    Mine as well.
I have those charts as well (or something like them)
It’s funny to me just how many different answers there are to this question.
It’s also crazy how many variations of tires and what tires are out there or not.
I’d like to run a tall skinny winter/snow & ice tire on
one set of rims and a 3 season tire on a my factory wheels…
The Continental terrain contacts ran great on my Ridgeline but I don’t know if I can get a set “big enough” or that will fill the whole if you know what I mean.
For winter I like the Bliztech’s
Just have to figure out the wheel and tire combos..

I think mine looks pretty decent. It's a 2021 trail edition with factory lift and stock 265 70 r16

I got the stock tires off as soon as I could get back to my local tire shop. I had Falken wildpeake 265 75 16 waiting. Totally changed the look of my truck once the stock tires were off. You could run them but it just didn't look right to me but people have different perspectives on that

What wheels are you going to get? 0 offset should work. -10 offset maybe light trimming.

With stock wheels (+25-30mm offset) you can fit 265/70/17 or 265/75/16

If you want 275's, you need near 0 or negative offset wheels. I have the TRD Lift kit with TRD Pro 4runner wheels wrapped in 275/70/17s

I have an SR5 and it took me a couple months to save money for new wheels and tires after installing the TRD Lift kit. Drove around looking like a dink for a bit lol

Here is my SR5 with Lift kit before new wheels and tires, and after with wheels and tires
