That's like 2 weeks of maintenance on a boat.

Don’t worry I saw a bunch of people on Facebook said they’re going to boycott July 3rd thru the 5th by not buying gas

So on July 2nd all those idiot will fill their tanks and act like not buying gas for 3 days will hurt the oil companies.

Every summer for as long as I've been alive people try to do the same thing. The absurdity is beyond absurd that it'll have any effect at all.

I fill up my truck like once a month, so I guess I'm technically in on this as well lmao

Kiddos are not for everyone, to be sure. But I have little doubt boat ownership is more work, lol.

I've owned a few boats. Never had to feed one, take it potty, or watch its shitty school play on a Wednesday

And even then it didn't. O&G just paid storage fees and the demand snapped back after a bit. Facebook crusaders are never gonna beat exxon mobile. They own part of the .gov lol

I own a kid. Never had her refuse to wake up and leave me stranded in a body of water because of it, never had to hook up a trailer just to take her somewhere, no need to winterize her.

Boats and children both have major drawbacks.

    Just jerk off and kayak.

That's the neat thing. I've offloaded all boat responsibility to my dad who takes care of fuel, licensing, and maintenance.

lol it's actually kinda funny. My dad/grandpa bought an expensive aluminum fishing boat, but since they're old now, the title is now in my brother's and my name. I own all the boat and carry none of the responsibility. There's even a rider for the insurance that absolves us and dumps it back onto my dad. Best way to own a big boat.

Also I live in the fucking desert so wtf am I gonna do with a 26' offshore fishing boat anyways

I’m not sure I can hold my kayak paddle with 2 hands while I jerk off. Hmmm

To be fair, this is the strategy some people use with their kids as well.

Chill it in your driveway to remind your peasant ass neighbors of what they can't afford.

You're right though, that's about the sweetest setup you could hope for.
