A little something every chance we get.
Wow! We got our own little Orange blob, and it brought us 0.88" of a nice 20 minute downpour!

You have better odds of a slim chance the rest of the week, as sea breeze is getting pushy with the H moving West! But it's all still happenstance.

    Welcome

There is some trails that take you the hill country, I have the routes listed on the first page with a link to the post. You would need to load them into your map program but as a hole most of the land is not public. I know lots of people go to government canyon here in SA to do some hiking.

    https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/government-canyon

If you have any other questions just give a shout.

For hiking locally there is Government Canyon, Salado Creek Trail, Eisenhower Park, Friederich Park which are all close by. A little further out is Enchanted Rock, Pedernales Falls and Lost Maples.

I didn’t take these but they’re good ones and I thought I’d share.

    Morning Kevin

    Morning Chas - nice pics!

    Morning Mark

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! So, I gotta' tell you how entertaining it was getting my hardware at Lowe's yesterday. Walked in to a big, dark store. But, all the customers seemed to be ignoring it - busy, busy. And I saw that the registers worked. So, what the heck. What I want is black pipe, in the darkest back corner of the store. Somewhere. I'm in the right area, and the lights come on - found it. Think I will use the nearby restroom. Get back to the aisle, and - lights out! I found the flanges/feet I needed by feel, and - lights on. Long enough to see 1/2" stuff is in red - lights out. Red is brown in the dark, but I found a 90, then - lights on! Need straight pieces, which are - lights out! Finally found what seemed right by feeling around in the bins. Took it all out to the garden center, and I had EVERYTHING! I checked out in the daylight. That was fun....

Play with the little shelf and telephone jack today, then work on assembling my invention - and the pool.

Well, the phone shelf required trimming 1/4" off the bottom of my new wall plate, but it can hold the base unit whenever, and it was actually complimented.

The feeder changed its plan. I was "gifted" an old cutting board years ago because "you can use it the garage". Well, finally thought of a use for it. The wire basket I had screwed on the old feeder when we had unshellable nuts.

So, a little cutting and tormenting of materials later, mated up with the bought in the dark fittings, and here we go.

Got a job, finally, as a production manager at a print shop. I’ll have to get some better pictures when we’re not slammed.
