Adam, it took me almost 10 minutes to figure out how you got to this from my response-I am not the fastest bulb in the box at times... This was in reply to the alum "TRD" skid that @Larrydangerfield posted. Explained below by and then I see you got it. I was confused... very confused.

@Larrydangerfield have you explored this area? I have seen the little dirt road several times this spring and want to go look. Few miles out of Woodruff on the way to St Germain on 70. Bittersweet lakes. Looks fascinating...

I will take requests from any of you fellers on here. Post up coordinates of places up north that you are interested in and I can tell you if I've been there, and post pictures if I have them. On the off chance I haven't been there it'll be new for me and you too!

I clicked on that Bittersweet Lake State Natural Area feature on the Google Map and it looks like there are some nice secluded campsites right on the lake from the photos. Road looks to go back into the woods quite a ways too but not sure how passable it is. Interesting little spot you found there @pearing ! Looks like a good spot to find some black bears, let us know if you make it out alive @Larry Dangerfield !

Hello fellow badgers. New to the forums and just introducing myself. I'm on the south side of Milwaukee, but have spent quite a bit of time in the Northwoods and have family up in Forest county. Good to see a solid contingent of WI owners here. Looking forward to participating and getting to know you guys. Cheers!

    Welcome!

I love Forest county! There's some great camping and fishing there!

Fyi, there is a parking lot / beer garden Meetup on July 5th. Details are in the Wisconsin area events thread:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ing-lot-parties-and-bs-biergarten-7-5.621460/

We usually BS in the parking lot for a bit, and then get a beer and some food in the Biergarten.

Heh, was hoping you guys would tell me where I can get my truck muddy!

My avatar pic is from a spot of almost 100 acres a friend had up near the Random Lake area. I was taking the truck there each spring to help clear fallen trees and such. I put in my time helping out in exchange for free camping when I want to. That land was sold last year, but they have another spot not far away, 40-some acres I believe, that has a nice pond with fish and a small cabin with a beer fridge. Good times. I'll dig up some pics.

Thanks for the info about the meetup in July! Unfortunately I won't be able to make that one, but will stay tuned here for others.
