Sounds like you should join us in July for the mod day then and we can get that bad boy put in!

It's gotta be my daily driver for work, so I'm only hoping to go up 2" right now and will probably just stay on the 265s for a while. I hope to put in lockers one day and I figure it makes the most sense to do that and regear at the same time, but that's probably a couple years down the road with things the way they are now. I didn't even think about the bushing needing to be replaced! I wonder how that thing comes back out?

Yeah @gixxerphil come on out. We can do the ECGS bushing and whatever else you have. Bring that bike too and I’ll ride my 250 with you on the trails here haha

I need to adjust my carb for summer, it’s set to fall of 2019 still :anonymous:

That’s rad, I guess most new bikes are like that now. Would make things much easier.

There's still a few holding on to carbs, but for the most part....all have gone to FI. I never had a problem with the carbs on my bikes, but I really wanted FI this go round. It's nice to have it crank right up with no hesitation :D

As long as you have experience and will fix it if you wreck it. I learned my lesson years ago by watching someone "learn" to ride a bike on a 2 stroke. Dumbass pegged the throttle and popped the clutch....bike came out shooting

I raced a zx9 at Bellows racetrack when I was in the Army. I don’t think I ever told you, but I rode a lot in my 20s and have the D on my license if that makes you feel better! Lol

It does help  This rides more towards the dirt bike side with rear braking and getting up on the tank to corner rather than front braking of the sportbikes and pushing the handle bars opposite direction in a corner. I don't mind you giving it a whirl, just fix it if you break it :D

Funny story, soon after I got my GSXR, I grabbed the rear brake like I had growing up on dirt bikes. Those bitches will grab and slide in a heartbeat

I learned how to ride a motorcycle on a little YZ 80 dirt bike, so I’m familiar with those. Did some high speed racing and some trail riding growing up, hence wanting a dual sport bike if some sort.

No worries. I had a guy wreck my scooter when we were kids. His dad wouldn't take responsibility and pay to have it fixed. That ruined our friendship and i won't let people take my stuff if they're not willing to fix/replace it if something happens. I just can't afford to have the bike down if it's not my fault. Nothing against anyone, just how I see things.

I like to think that I’m accountable for my own actions.
