Breaking .136" drills in stainless? Nah, that's par for the coarse

 

No some purchasing agents get sweet talked into buying poor quality products .

Then the sales woman was a major distraction at one job I recall thousands of dollars lost while people had no idea where that 30 minutes went.

The person who placed the order questioned what idiot bought this junk He was reminded it was him every day numerous times till the job ended.

 

It was meant as a joke!!

 

I figured you meant it cause I've messed so much stuff up here lately

 

I wondered if you work hardened that stainless on accident, but I didn't want to rub salt in the wound.

 

Luckily it didn't, I turned it over, center drilled it and drilled it through and was able to save it

 

Which is more the balanced out by the excellent work you do.

Any more just by showing up for work for a full week.

Anyone ever pulled an engine at a pick n pull or similar place? I'm curious, is there like a dibs system so people don't poach your pull? Like say I spend a whole day disconnecting wiring, ecu, ignition and unbolting accessories, then I come back the next day and the engine and trans was snatched up while I was gone? I'd be furious.

 

I don't know how that works, I've only been to a place like that to get a door regulator for a Ford Ranger I had.

You'd have to be real unlucky the places ive been they pull the engine

Seems like they got engine hoists on site for people to use. I might be able to pay more to have them pull it. All the cars I saw out there still had engines in them.

I went to one that had engines in cars but i didnt ask about that. What type car you looking at?

 

Trying to get these stainless parts done, burnt my saw blade up on the last part.
