I always liked this guy. He’s very honest and the guys that do the alignment have off road rigs so they always do it right. Usally $50 for a Tacoma. Maybe $60 now. But he has a ac system as well. Think he charges $40…well used to. Not sure if prices went up like everything now at days

You can put it under vacuum and see if it holds. That is the "standard" diy. If it has had a lot of air in it then there are repairs to do dryer etc.

Unfortunately, I don't have a vacuum pump or an air compressor. I will rent one and see how it goes. Thank you for the advice.

House of Automatic transmissions is a old family owned transmission shop that has a lot of knowledge and good people. Its in Sacramento area if you willing to go a little further down into sac.

Anybody know of a good local guy that does electrical systems? Specifically overland setups? I have a switch pro and a ton of wiring to do and want a blue sea type set up. I’m thinking of doing it all it’s more a matter of time.. and not burning down a 2021 taco.. :bananadead:
I’ve started but still have a ton to wire…

It shouldn't be that hard to wire in. As long as you use fuses and the correct gauge of wire it wont burn down . What all do you have to hook up to your switch pro? Im currently working on my overland setup with a 10 switch from Meso.

Switch pro, air compressor, ditch lights, work lights, chase lights and waiting for my anytime front camera to arrive.. it’s more about the time than difficulty. I work to much these days. Lol I need to schedule a work on truck day… :ballchain:

I did nights for ~3 years and I was able to handle it just fine but I was also in my early 20s. Not sure I could still do it now. I do miss how productive I was after work since stores were always empty and I could just knock stuff out when I got home before passing out.

Im in my early 30s and do a 12 hour shift. I enjoy it because I get half the week off and spend time with the kids. I agree also that its nice to get off and no one be at the stores and get all your stuff done a lot faster. It does help stay up late and work on the truck. :D

I work on semiconductor equipment so not as busy as being in an ambulance most of the time. That must have been busy most weekends.

I hear you guys on being busy. My first job doing nights was overnights at Lowe's emptying trucks and reloading the shelves. sweating 8 hours a night was exhausting but man, i miss being able to eat like complete crap and still lose weight. but some of those nights, i barely made it home and just passed out on the floor of my room cause I was too tired to shower before getting into bed.

The second time around, I was a data center technician and my company had several cages in a couple of colo data centers. definitely kept me busy but i found that half the shift I could be on the forums / take a nap and then finish all the real work in the second half before day shift walked in.
