next time use a 4 lb sledge hammer and strike the indents that are intended for this purpose (use a pry bar or appropriate punch like tool on the indent) it comes out like butter.....

Went quite the opposite direction from some of you guys. I put a sway bar back ON my truck.... I tested it offroad (w/o the swaybar) and it was awesome. However, since I do 90% of my driving on road, I wanted it back on (had to cut it off since my end link bolts stripped). The on road driving was terrible, tons of body roll etc. I have a trd sport, but I ended up throwing a thinner, trd offroad bar on my truck. Since it has more flex in the bar itself, it should end up being a better overall set up. I also put on new sway bar end links (obviously).

Had a bit of a facelift.. Blackout headlight mod, made a mesh grille, wash and wax.

So now I'm looking for auxiliary lights with amber DRL/halo functions to run behind my mesh grille.. any suggestions?
I'm finding precious little in my search for something that looks good and matches the DRL's of the headlights.

Tacked it together, some of the fit up was difficult but it was only after a fair amount of struggling that I determined my sheet metal cuts were ass. It pays not to rush things.

I need to figure out how to make better brackets. Current ones were quickly whipped up with random 3ft Home Depot 90 degree angle aluminum bar (medium thickness) cut with a hacksaw + holes drilled after approximate marking with sharpie

She looks a lot better from far away right now. It's our shop car for the custom car building class I teach.

I just saw the Krispy Kreme on your nav and I got a little jealous. We haven't had them in MN for like 10 years.

I don't know much about cameras. But if I tap on the truck and take a picture it's dark if I tap on the wheel it's light. Either way it's looking pretty awesome!

I couldn't figure out what to do with my long usb cables coming from my new head unit. Did not want to put in the glove box as many have done. I had bought a dual usb extension socket however I did not want to remove half the dash to install that due to the nut required on the back side. Been looking for a round snap-in type of dual usb extension socket with no luck. I found a grommet that fit in the black lighter heat shield sleeve for $1.80. I wanted smaller pass thru hole but the usb plugs barely squeeze thru the grommet I found. Not the prettiest setup but still beats taking the dash apart. This will work for me. Now looking for something else to fill the void and separate the 2 cables.

Instead of doing it myself, I decided to go back to the garage who installed regular size Moog front suspension despite my Tacoma being a TRD OR, and make them do the swap with the 2020 takeoffs + 1 inch spacer/lift I got on Kijiji (online classified ads in Canada), and then redo the alignment. I got the Moog parts reimbursed, and, the install/alignment labour for free, since it was their screw up to fix.

She sits nice and level again :amen:.
