Remember when

I think I recognize that kid!! He was driving the pedal-car in the earlier pic!!!

 

I used to sit on the top of the Rocky Mountains with the five watt Realistic and I could skip all the way to Florida.

I had the CB that looked like a car phone with a telephone handset.

 

Remember these?

 

You see herds of young kids 1st grade and younger out riding tricycles and big wheels ??

All the time!!

 

Only being able to look back and compare the two.

 

We had a few of those held back a few years!!

Being able to drive to elementary school they were quite popular.

 

Never could tell where your skip might end up.

Then the next day talking a 1/2 mile is difficult .

 

We used to have some terrific atmospheric conditions. If you’re sitting on a mountain at 8000 feet, And there is clear, cold air with a cloud cover at 12,000, you might hear something amazing.

 

You didn’t need to be a drug dealer to own a gram scale. Just a turntable owner.

I need to give it to the family. The guy who bought the car passed away several years ago and both of his sons passed away from cancer in the last few years. I know the grandkids, they may like to have it

 

My dad still has one or two hanging in his shop. I remember using them growing up.

 

Saw a ton at my block party in a herd, but no when I do they are with their parents because you know they realized that kids get abducted now. Ya'll were getting abducted too you just had no one telling you it was happening elsewhere.

 

I remember trying to get a young naïve person to use one on a can of Fosters....
